Why pay more than you have to? Works great at a low cost.

It's inexpensive, not cheap. The plastic is nice and thick, the threads are all cut perfectly. The clean output has a check valve built in. It even comes with a wrench to open it if it gets stuck over time. No complaints.

Good product at a good price

I purchased to replace an old housing that was starting to leak. I was looking for the housing only which makes this a value for the price - it's well constructed and easy to install - exactly what I was looking for!Pros:Well constructedContains adapters and pipe tapeCons:Instructions are difficult to understand, specifically where output and waste connectors go. The instructions may be incorrect as they show the output towards the side and the waster towards the middle - the center (where the double ringed part of the membrane goes) is the output water and the one towards the wall of the canister is the waste.It doesn't have restrictors so using only the parts included you'll create a large amount of waste water. As I was replacing an old housing I used my previous 50 GPD flow restrictors. Buyers should be aware of this as it isn't exactly "plug and play".

I used this to add to existing ro's and also to build my own ro for way cheaper than the store bought ones.To add, you can plumb it two ways, tee from carbon/sediment filter outlet to go into the existing ro and then into this membrane housing, joining the ro water together at the end with another tee, along with joining the waste water together at the end, or what i did, is route the waste water from the first fed membrane into this ro since my tap is clean, ~100-120 tds, for 2x production and also saves a ton of wasted water. The second filter will go out faster than the first but its sooo much water saved.If you are building your own ro, you'll have your sediment/carbon then this membrane then a automatic pressure switch and for the waste water line you'll need a flow restrictor. You can buy everything on amazon and its cheap, a 400 gpd ro for mer ~120 bucks all said and done that gives 0 ppm and biggest upside is the filters are DIRT cheap for replacement!

Product came with all parts and instructions than would help nearly anyone install it. Seams to work well without old system and fits great.

It included: Membrane filter, (3) 1/4" fittings, (1) plastic housing wrench, (3) 1/4" water tubes, and a nice little fleece scarf as a gift from the seller. I have been purchasing HUINING RO filters a few times before, and I can say that I am happy with what I ordered. RECOMMEND THIS SELLER.
