Unique Loom Narenj Collection Area Rug - Birmingham (7' 10" x 10' Rectangle, Blue/ Burgundy)

Obviously this is not a "genuine" Persian rug. It's something synthetic. For us it's great because it was cheap and we have animals in the house so everything has to be disposable at some point. The pattern is wonderful and the colors are good. We are very pleased with it. It's not very thick, it's soft for bare feet, and it smoothed right out with an hour in the sun. It had no odor, and it vacuums easily. I have tile floors and cats racing through, so I just used some corner tabs to hold it down.

The media could not be loaded. Firstly, this rug does indeed look like in the photos, if not better. I'm absolutely dazzled with the design and colors. Initially, I was planning on placing a 3/8" rug pad underneath, but when I walked on this rug, it actually relatively thick and comfortable to walk on. For this reason I opted in placing a thin rubber grip pad instead which will protect both the rug, floor and provide extra slip protection. I didn't really notice this rug being very slippery out of the box though, and that's on a hardwood floor too. Another pleasant surprise was that it didn't seem to require almost any flattening period. It just looked very smooth as soon as I placed it down with minimal creasing which went away in around a day.Vacuuming this rug is very smooth and effortless. I never feel like there is a lot of friction when brushing vacuum on it making it feel super smooth and satisfying to clean. Keep in mind, you may notice it tends to release white hairs for the first few weeks which can attach to the other parts of your room but this tends to go away with regular vacuuming.Lastly, this rug feels very high quality and soft. I've owned expensive silk rugs in the past and let me tell you, this is the most beautiful rug I've seen and prefer this over the expensive silk ones I've had! I can't speak on the longevity of this rug since I haven't had it long enough but I feel confident it will hold up considering how high quality it feels. I HIGHLY recommend this rug.

this is a very inexpensive rug that looks high quality. Nice hand, great colors and complementary to cream colored fabrics on chairs, sofas, etc. Bought 2 rugs, this one and one for $8,000....think I like this one better.
