Excellent extension ladder standoff
Perfect for my roof and gutter inspections ,with rubber buffers to protect facings and soffits etc, ideal for corners due to the 90 degree profile built into the standoff, simple bolt together assembly when it arrives using two 10mm spanners, and the strong spring attachment keeps it securely attached to my 2 piece 6metre extension ladder great price, and quality

FANTASTIC PRODUCT.
Wished we'd bought one years ago.moved to a new house which was higher than our last.this is a must for extra confidence and safety when using extendable ladders.lifts you back from your building.when working on eaves and guttering this lessens the need to lean back to position yourself correctly.Stand is sturdy and good quality easily assembled. This made a dreaded job almost enjoyable.Brillant price too.highly recommended 👌

Good value
The good points:Good value, light weight, easy to assemble and install.The bad points:Not adjustable, lower hooks should be adjustable to better locate on rungs.Rung hook overs have sharp corners that have injured me on first use (skin rip), and catch clothing.Assemble bolts, good engineering practice is to have two threads showing through the nut, as these are nylocks nuts this is essentially for these to lock correctly.Nice design, could be substantially improved for little increase in price.Would probably not buy again, I would find a better version.

Good item
Adequate item, made strongly enough to not give concern when using the ladder.Nice & light so handling the ladder isn't too bad with the extra weight at the top.Handy to have the angle - used it on the corner of the house without worry - so long as you use common sense as with most ladders, it works well.Haven't used it to span over a downspout yet, but it looks like it should clear it.Springs are vicious on the locking "mechanism" (as they should be) but watch fingers when putting on/taking off.Don't quite fit the gap between rungs but fits well enough not to matter.

Perfect for the job
I'm very pleased with this stand-off. It arrived very quickly and packaged well. The parts were easy to assemble - just a couple of bolts. Attaching/removing to/from the ladder is simple. It's light yet study and fits perfectly around a downpipe.
