Ever since taking slippery elm I no longer have an issue with acid reflux. I had taken omeprazole on and off and chewed antacids a lot! This product is AMAZING!!! I take two with my lunch and evening meal. It helps with your entire digetive tract. It soothes the stomach and intestines. I think the acid reflux would kick off issues with my lungs. Since taking this my breathing is better. I notice a difference if I'm eating out and don't take it...I can feel the acid creeping up into my throat. I'm so happy to be off omeprazole and antacids...what a breakthrough!

I read reviews of all the slippery elm products and fake product is rampant here. As soon as I got this I busted a cap apart, put it in a bowl and put a little warm water in it and it started gelling almost immediately. It's very blond, not dark. I have issues with tension in my digestive tract. Like my stomach is drawn up tight all the time. 2 of these twice a day almost solves my 20 year digestive issue with no side effects noticed. What a relief.

I wrote a long review for DGL licorice and how that helped take care of the worst of my acid reflux. Stopped taking Prilosec (been on that for well over a decade), ranitidine, and chewable antacids because of it. However, my stomach issues are pretty serious (had to have 2 different surgeries). I still have regurgitation due to the way my throat and stomach valve act which cannot be fixed with more surgery. I am one of those special/severe cases. I would need to take a swig of Pepto once a day or maybe every other day. This is where Slippery Elm comes in. After a little trial and error, I found that 2 of these pills in the morning and 1 at night made any regurgitation far more tolerable. If you have bad stomach problems, I would seriously recommend both DGL and Slippery Elm. These products have changed my life and my only issue is that I wish I would have found them sooner.

IF YOU SUFFER FROM GERD, buy this product!!I will occasionally get a stress-induced GERD flare-up that lasts several weeks, even with a PPI. A friend suggested I take this, plus DGL and 2 oz. aloe juice 20 minutes before each meal (and even before bed if necessary) until my esophagus heals. It has made me feel so much better after a couple of weeks. My friend said it took her a couple of months before she was totally healed and was able to be free from medication. Now she only takes these supplements as needed and healing time is a LOT faster, we’re talking days instead of months. I am so thankful.Highly recommend this product!

The Slippery Elm I normally buy works wonders for me. Real Herbs Slippery Elm Bark Extract-Derived from 7000mg of Slippery Elm Bark with 10:1 Extract. Not available at this time. So am using the Now brand temporarily. I do consider Now a good brand
