MUCH better than expected for such a low price!
I purchased an ASUS TUF FX505DT laptop for my wife about 6 months ago, and while performance of the laptop is very good, the stock cooling fans are horrible! They have been very loud from the very first day, but mostly just sounded like they were pushing a lot of air so we didn't worry about it at the time.Unfortunately, about a month ago, the fans started grinding and squealing a lot, even when the laptop wasn't being used for anything that pushed the CPU or the GPU. It was clearly audible from the other side of our house, and almost unbearable with the laptop sitting directly on her lap. This seems to be a very common problem with the stock fans on this laptop, so I contacted ASUS to get warranty support and they said that even though I am a very experienced (20+ years) computer tech, and repair a wide variety of computers as part of my daily job function, they would not just send me some replacement fans. We would have to ship the laptop to them and wait 3-4 weeks to get it back. That's far too long for my wife to be without her laptop so I shopped around and found this listing for replacement fans. There were only a couple of reviews at the time but they all reported good results so I decided to give it a try.First off, Amazon delivered the fans less than 24 hours after the order was placed, so definitely 5 stars for shipping!I was pleasantly surprised to find a spudger (plastic spreader tool for separating the back of the laptop case without damaging it) in the package along with a small Phillips screwdriver that is just the right size for the case and cooling fan screws. I personally didn't need these, but it's a very nice addition for people who don't already have the tools! It would also be nice to have some basic instructions to replace the fans for those who aren't familiar with the process. It's not difficult, but it can be frustrating removing the fans if you don't know that you need to very gently pull up on the corner of the motherboard behind the fan and heat pipes to lift the heat pipes up enough to allow removal and replacement of the fans. Also need to be careful when disconnecting and reconnecting the power cable for the battery, and the wires for the cooling fans, as well as the control cable for the LCD screen that wraps around the GPU fan (right side when looking at the bottom of the laptop).I have to say that there is one very small negative about the fans. They don't report their RPMs to the motherboard so I can't see how fast they are actually spinning, but that's only a minor annoyance. Even though I can't see the actual RPMs, I can tell that the fans are slowing down and speeding up as needed, and they are spinning fast enough to move enough air to keep the CPU and GPU cool. In fact, full load temperatures are several degrees C lower than they were before, probably because these fans are actually working properly. The fans themselves are EXTREMELY quiet. Even while under 100% CPU and GPU load, I had to put my ear literally right next to the exhaust ports on the back of the laptop in order to tell that they were actually spinning at all, and that is a huge and very welcome change compared to the horribly loud stock fans that I removed.I can't comment on durability as I only received and replaced the fans today, but I'm pleased with the results so far. I'll add to my review if any problems do pop up at a later time.

it worked fine
Got it for my son's [ASUS - TUF Gaming 15.6" Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti - 256GB SSD - Black] that was purchased from Best Buy at the end of 2020. My son was 14 years back then and he liked playing games but he was typically not too keen on fixing hardware, so once the fans arrived we agreed that I would help him to perform the replacement. However he did it himself, no problem. He only needed to replace one of the laptops 2 fans, in case it's important, the other fan in the laptop was fine. Also note that replacement fan is as noisy as the original when it worked correctly, so if the only reason you are buying it is to reduce the level of noise, I am not sure it would help.

Brought New Life to My Asus TUF FX505DT Gaming Laptop
My Asus TUF Gamming Laptop started making terrible grinding noises and computer started acting up as it was overheating. Bought these to replace the failed fans. Both were identical to the OEM, and were easy to install. Very quiet fans and I was up and running in less then 10 Minutes.

Hooray
I should have gotten a video before swapping to the new fans. It was soooo loud. I realized my cpu fan had stopped working. It was even difficult to spin by hand. And the gpu fan was gross. I found a guide on ifixit website and took maybe 20 minutes in total. They're very quiet in comparison. FCN brand is the OEM version but I am happy with these

super quiet... is this thing working
The 2 fans came with the plastic pry tool and screwdriver. Perfect!I watched the youtube video to get an understanding of the work, and after removing around dozen little screws, the fans were replaced. These fans are super quiet, very happy, and so is my kid that has a quiet laptop. When I opened the laptop, the old fans were clogged by dust bunnies.. I have no idea how, but it looked like a clogged dry vent.Only thing missing is a magnetic screwdriver... with the fine detail and no room for error, it would be even batter.
