McFarlane Toys The Walking Dead TV Series 4 Carl Grimes Action Figure

Carl Grimes, not one of my favorite characters on the show, but he gets a pretty good figure treatment in series 4. Now that his father Rick has padded his Sheriff's hat, little Carl can now wear it. The hat fits great and looks great, not awkward like some removable hats can look like on a lot of figures. There aren't too many great accessories for this figure (I would have liked the pistol with makeshift silencer that he used in most of the episodes of season 3, but oh well) he comes with prison keys (the same prison keys that come in the Dixon Brother's 2 pack just released as part of series 4) a bag of medical supplies and a small knife. I can understand McFarlane being hesitant to make an action figure of a young kid come with machine guns and pistols. The figure itself looks great, the head sculpt has a great likeness to Chandler Riggs who plays Carl Grimes, though his hair should be a bit longer. The card that the figure is blistered to is nearly identical to series 3 with the prison as the backdrop, the only difference that I can see is that there is just more blood splattered across the top.If you aren't getting all of the figures from this wave of series 4 then you may want to skip this figure. Overall it's a good figure but for me I can't recommend a buy unless you can grab this for a good price (under $14.99). Also, this figure is smaller than the rest of the figures from series 4 as well as the last 3 series (obviously keeping in line with scale, Carl is just a kid so he should be smaller than all of the adult figures, this is not a complaint) so that's pretty great. For the right price, this figure comes recommended.

WWE Figures are great additions to any 1/10 scale crawler. But I needed and wanted a child and they don’t offer children in wwe lol so I randomly picked this and it was a great choice although the left arm came came broken I just wrapped it up and made a cast to simulate a broken arm since it’s for my scale truck. Perfect size and fit for scale crawlers. These are usually not a good brand to use for crawlers but the child worked. fitments and easiest to work with. With some customization these figures are awesome. Sometimes cutting and removing shoes happen to make them fit but Not this time kid for perfect in his seat lol . Great for 1/10 for sure. My truck has 9 figures that ride in it lol

Love the comics and the show. Carl is my favorite character from both so I was psyched to get a Carl action figure. The detail is really great, down to the freckles across the bridge of his nose. I really would have loved if the figure came with his trademark gun with the silencer but I guess it would have been considered "bad taste" to produce a toy, of a child, with a weapon. No problem. I bought an extra governor to take his weapon and modify it for Carl. Looks perfect standing next to the new redesigned Rick.

(I recommend this product) This product is so high quality and good and Carl is holding up good I had to give him one of my spare guns cause his knife broke but it’s ok!

The first thing I noticed was that this figure is pretty small. That's to be expected, given it's a child character in a lineup of mostly adults, but it's striking here. The included accessories don't really make up the difference to justify the price, compared to others in the line. There are also odd choices in the figure's articulation that make it difficult to pose, particularly in the legs. The resemblance to the TV character is also not as strong as I'd have liked. Finally, the knee joints were warped in-package, splaying the lower legs outward, and causing difficulties standing the figure. I've subsequently seen other copies of this toy in stores, and it seems to be a common problem, so watch out for that.On this positive side, the figure is actually very well sculpted, with very realistic clothing detail, and generally top-notch paint. The dirt wash on the arms is a little inconsistent, but that will vary by figure. And however disappointing I may have found the accessories, they ARE very high quality, with equally good sculpting and paint. I definitely appreciate the tiny knife accessory, which fits very realistically into a sheath on his hip.

Received this figure today 3/6/14 around mid afternoon and as a fan of the walking dead I actually enjoy this figure accessories carl comes with is set of jail keys, ricks hat, knife and duffle bag full of ammunition/ supplies the likeness of chandler Riggs comes pretty close McFarlane does a perfect job to capture that he even captured the iconic dog paw screen printed shirt like it just came out of the show. now this figure compared to other Walking Dead Figures Carl is a lot smaller than any walkers even rick which is understandable cause he is a kid but let that fool you cause he's a badass you will notice he doesn't have a gun which myself gave him one I went through my old figures and found a handgun that fits into his hands perfectly. Detail on the figure is really impressive you can see all the dirt and grind on Carls shoes and pants even his stained white paw T-shirt really cool stuff any way if your a Walking Dead fan read the comics and watch the TV shows I would highly recommend you getting this figure to complete or to add to your walking dead collection.Articulation: ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, ball hinged elbows, swivel forearm, hinged wrist, swivel waist, ball hinged hips, ball hinged knees, and double hinged anklesHeight: 4 1/2 inchMy Overall score: 10/10

This is the smallest action figure I have ever seen. Funny thing is that it almost looks just like the actor that plays Carl. It's a nearly perfect likeness and you can definitely tell who it is. It's a birthday present for my older brother and he's been wanting this one for awhile now. I think he's gonna really like his present. Definitely perfect for any fan of the walking dead.
