Why did you pick this product vs others?:Brand was same as pool pump and it really does as intended with pool vacuum cleaner but also works to improve draw in the skimmer.

Be prepared for the O-ring to come out. Poorly secured in its channel.

Works great. Very simple to use.Trash goes into basket instead of maybe clogging system.

Item is a few millimeters too small, does not seal completely.

For the past couple years I’ve been taking the skimmer basket out and vacuuming through the port which means all the solids end up in the pump’s basket which fills up quickly and is a pain to attend to. I saw a video on YouTube (of course) that highly recommended this so I ordered one and gave it try. Am so glad I did because it makes the whole vacuuming process so much quicker and easier. It’s a simple product that works amazingly well. Highly recommend.

Exact replacement for the original that came with the pool. Also, the price at Amazon was considerably less than what a local pool supplier wanted !
