AccuQuilt GO! Square-5" (4 1/2" Finished) Fabric Cutting Die for Quilting, Sewing, and Crafting DIY Projects

Accuquilt cutting dies have literally revolutionized my love of quilting - and applique! Accurately cutting fabric for piecing was one of my biggest challenges... I always seemed to goof it up somehow - which frustrated me beyond words, wasting fabric and time! Now cutting with Accuquilt dies, every piece is PERFECT and FAST! Both the fabric cutter and the dies are of highest quality, easy to use and built to last - well worth the investment! I absolutely LOVE my Accuquilt GO! Fabric Cutter and Dies... now cutting fabric for piecing or applique is a cool breeze!

What I love about the Accuquilt dies is that they are so accurate and can be used again and again. You can make so many different quilts and the Accuquilt dies make it much easier.

Update: Now I have been using this dye quite a bit. It cuts through cotton, denim, polyester batting, and polyester fleece. I just hate cutting polyester batting by hand, and the Go-Baby makes it pretty much of a pleasure. The very slight offness of the dye does not seem to make any difference on the project that I am working on, now. I actually really like this product. The 5-inch dye is the widest that the Go-Baby will accept, but I am okay with cutting larger pieces with the rotary cutter. The Go-Baby is much more compact than the Go-Daddy and costs a LOT less. I will have to re-try the Value Die which my initial experience with was less than stellar. I am going to take the Go-Baby in to my quilting group at church. They will LOVE it, I know.I just got this die (5-inch) and tested it out on my Go-Baby. It cuts nice and clean, which is great, but when I measure the squares, they are 1/16th-1/8 of an inch short on one side. The die-cut squares are supposed to be "perfect." They are not. Also, the "Value Die" which cuts three sizes at once leaves several places where it does not cut through, and I have to finish up with scissors, which is awkward and wastes my time. This product is a very nice idea, not such great execution, unfortunately. I am very glad that I did not waste money on the full-sized version. The cutter and the dies may yet turn out to be more-or-less worth the money even with these imperfections. I don't know, yet.

5" die is very useful, but I had problems with the center blade sticking in an "up" position. I've been told by store manager that this is a common problem with the 5" die and that continued use could resolve the issue. I hope it's true. In the meantime, I use my mat to push the blade back in place. Risky, but I haven't had an injury from it when I do this with care. I hoped to get a replacement, but so far I haven't received it.

One of the best purchases in a long time! Saves SO much time cutting!

This is a great die to have to make piles of 5 inch squares. Cuts up to 4 fabrics at a time.
