Love the mild mix of spices and savory, nutty flavor. I mix mine with ground chicory, but could use it solo, as well. Makes my mornings better!

It isn't coffee, but the bold, nutty, chocolate flavor is growing on me. I can taste the nutrients (magnesium, calcium, folate, iron, B vitamins, amino acids, zinc, etc) and it feels healthier and more naturally energizing than coffee to me. This blend does have half the caffeine content of coffee, which helps!After some research, I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the Maya nut supports the Amazon rainforest. The nuts grow on a rainforest tree and because they can be harvested without destroying the tree it helps protect the Amazon Rainforest from deforestation.Update: I tried brewing this with some autumn spices (allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.) and added maple syrup, half and half, and whip cream. Really delicious and flavorful! Perfect Autumn Latte.

If you are going to do Maya nut coffee this is the best one. Don't expect it to taste like coffee though.I have a severe aversion to caffeine and can only do Downers.This stuff has tryptophan in it which can make people tired. I love this stuff.

Not clear why coffee was used as a comparison. Even with almost doubling the amount suggested per serving this is lacking in flavor. Love coffee and enjoy flavorful teas, but this drink pales in comparison to either.

I have tried the other flavor versions of this product, as well as other products, and this one has been my favorite. The caffeine content is half compared to 100% roasted coffee beans, and so the coffee taste is also lessened, but in its place is the distinct taste and aroma of turmeric, cinnamon and ginger. The Mayan nut also apparently delivers a roasty flavor, which you will notice more in the regular flavor version. It is pricey for a regular-sized, small bag of coffee. But it is still a good option.

Wow! Was given a sample of this from a friend who purchased this in Costa Rica. Immediately bought on amazon and brewed to experience that wonderful coffee smell and sensation. What a wonderful coffee alternative for those who can’t drink caffeine.

The fact that I can get my cup of this amazing coffee and not be back in Nosara is a blessing. Fell in love with this blue zone coffee and I will continue to order more.
