Great Product and is working well.

Got this for my mother that lives in rural Oklahoma where Verizon network is the only one that works inside her home. received unit charged it and then tested and it works ok inside and outside her home, the only negative i can see is the wait time on the operators to answer the call button..when seconds count this could be the difference

Update: Do not buy this device. The lanyard broke in the shower and the button fell to the floor. A fall was not detected and the call center was not notified.One of the reasons I bought this device for my mother was the GPS location feature. I want to share our experience. When we were shopping 100 miles away from home and the button in Mother’s purse was accidentally pushed, 70 seconds passed before the call center responded and tried to talk to her. There was not an instant response as advertised. The call center did not get a response from her on the button or her phone, so they started calling her contacts. The caller ID for the number they called from showed up as SPAM. After verification, two family members told the call center that this was a false alarm. Even after being told that no help was needed, the company sent a dispatch to her home address, not her current location! Police and ambulance went to her empty house 100 miles away from her actual location! According to the call center records I requested, the button was transmitting map coordinates that the call center chose to ignore. So, what I want you to remember from my experience and research is that the emergency device you choose for your home or loved one is only as good as the call center employee who answers the alert. And many times the company that manufactured or sold you the medical or security alert device is not the same company that is responding to your calls. The device companies have contracts with call centers. Home and Wellness plus many other companies have contracts with AvantGuard Monitoring Center in Ogden, UT. Do your own research on devices and call centers before choosing wisely!!

Sandy wore this device each day for 3 years. It was a source of comfort to both of us. The service notified us if we forgot to charge it. They replaced it the next day when it was damaged. And they called everyone on the list within a few minutes if the device was dropped or Sandy pressed the button by mistake and didn't respond to the service when they spoke on the device.

We purchased this for my 82 year old mom. It's a good size and we just set it up with the security company that will be the people that help her when she falls or need help. They were great, we tested it and everything went great. I do feel better knowing they can see if she falls and can get help faster than I could.

The device is a bit bulky and the neck lanyard that it comes with has a magnetic clasp that is designed to break away when pulled for safety reasons, but it will occasionally come apart and cause the device to fall.This brings up an issue: The device has fallen a few times, but given the device is supposed to detect falls, these events have not triggered the alert for a fall. I will need to test more, but I will say that the push button on the device does work consistently.

I ordered this for my mom, who was home during the day alone, she said she always felt safe knowing she had the device. It gave me peace of mind too, knowing I would be alerted if something happened. Great service at a great price.

Purchased for a senior citizen... However, could not get that person to agree to use it. And we also realized there were added charges to the unit once you start using their product..... could not afford future charges
