Crème de la crop
Anyone who gave this less than 5 stars is just wrong, honestly. This thing is hands down the best media enclosure available, and if you're an electrical contractor that doesn't exclusively use these on new residential builds, well you should probably re evaluate your career. It's the modern standard. It's sleek. It's ventilated. It's non metallic, and it's inexpensive as well as durable. Don't want to see your router or other WiFi equipment? Stuff it in here. There's room. Got a mess of cables? They'll fit. Got that poorly designed, brick-shaped Calix U6? It fits, if you're careful. Even the 20inch model will accommodate 95% of modern homes. So, whether you're a homeowner who wants to clean up that mess of cable that your electrician left in your utility room, or if you're a contractor wondering which media enclosure to use on your new builds, the answer is right here.

Works good for retrofitting
I was able to retro fit this into my office and add a UPS and hang up my router, modem, etc. I did have to cut the ears off and drill in the sides but it works nicely and got rid of all sorts of clutter and freed up floor space.

Flimsy Door
Worst thing with this is the door. It's just not rigid enough to keep from warping and sagging. It also does not include any latching mechanism. The box itself is good. It's plastic so it flexes when snapping in the pins, especially in the middle. For adding to existing wall, note that the box is wider than 14" and requires removing part of the drywall over the studs if they ar 16"oc.

Great plastic enclosure.
I purchased the 20" version to move some equipment into. The box is plastic, so it is not as sturdy on its own as a metal enclosure, but once screwed into the studs, it is more than sturdy enough. I was placing my WiFi access point in here, so the plastic works out great to get the signal out.If you are not surface mounting, the box is not really meant for already finished walls, as the mounting tabs are meant to screw onto the face of the studs. My walls were already finished, so in addition to the hole for the box, I cut out notches in my drywall so that the tabs could sink into the wall and I can screw into the studs. I meant to clean up the final result with some mud to fill in the notches but I got lazy once I realized that the trim covered my notches completely!

Great hidden box
I used this to install behind my Samsung Frame TV to get a very close fit to the wall, and it works awesome! It helped keep everything organized and out of sight, and the design lets the signal through perfectly. Great solution for cable management and keeping a clean, streamlined look.

Great Large Network Cabinet
This network cabinet is great for situations where a lot of equipment needs to be hidden. I was able to put network switches, router, modem, security system, smart home hub, backup hard drive, and surge protectors all into one enclosure. The box is made of plastic, but it is very heavy duty. It would be fairly simple to install this box in new construction, but I was able to install it into existing construction. This enclosure is designed for 16 inch stud bays, but mine were 24 inches in the spot I chose to install it, so I had to add some additional framing to support it. Despite the additional work, the trim ring neatly covers up the rough cuts, and no sheetrock repair was needed after I installed it.The power outlet spots at the bottom are great and can be used with old work boxes rather than Legrand's proprietary boxes. Legrand's rubber grommets and lock are great additions, though they can be hard to find. VHB tape or heavy duty Velcro can be used for mounting things rather than using their proprietary brackets.
