Great relay but make sure to consider the exposed contacts.
This worked out just great as the control relay for my communications accessories in my car. The relay is quiet and appears to hold well. The only real problem is that the contacts are exposed ad you have to make some arrangement to protect them.

This is a great item
I used this item to add a fuse box to my old truck. The distempered works great a reduced the amount of power required to the ignition switch that would shorten its life

I purchased this to use as a relay for installing an air compressor in my truck. It is a simple relay and works. As a once in a while electrician, it would be nice for electrical relays like this to come with a simple wiring diagram of what post gets what wires. It is simple to find a wiring diagram online, but having one shipped with the item for non electricians like myself would make the install much quicker. For anyone who needs it, the pins should be connected as follows:30 - Your incoming power from your battery/fused source85 - Your ground wire86 - Your remote lead (from a switch or accessory that you want to activate the relay with)87 - Your 12v power out to the added accessory

Good product, works as advertised
Good product, works as advertised. Using it to power an OBA (on board air compressor) for my 4Runner. This is for a Air Zenith OB2 air comp and the supplied 80amp relay was a joke. When you have a high current load, stay away from using female spade connectors. The female spade connectors will loosen up over time, especially if it's in the engine bay where the temp can fluctuate a large amount. When a connector starts to make poor connections, the current increases and so does the temperature of the connection. This leads to what's known as a "hot point". Use ring terminals to securely connect your wiring for heavy current loads.

Good quality
I bought this relay to use with a onboard air compressor. All the smaller 80 amp and 40 amp relays would just burn up within 30 seconds of the compressor running even though the compressor said it only pulled 30 amps either way this relay has been holding up for months now no issues.

Very useful relay perfect for bypassing electrical system on painful to diagnose drains
This is a pretty nifty relay in a great compact package. I installed one of these with a switch for a vehicle that had a drain that wasn't worth diagnosing. Didn't take too long to properly solder all connections and run all the wires and the problem was solved without having to tear apart into the harness or start swapping and diagnosing random parts.

Improperly labeled. DO NOT BUY
I'm not entirely sure which post us which on this relay. The label does not match the actual numbers shown at each post. Do I feed the 30 post or the 87? This is kind of a big issue for people who're unsure how to properly wire a 100 amp relay. I'm going to try to use this one, but I won't buy this brand again.UPDATE: I powered the 87 post instead of the 30 and no issues this far. It works like it should, I just wish someone in QC would have done their job to ensure what was shown on the label actually matched what was shown at each post.PS: this relay didn't match the pictures showing in the description either
