Fit just fine & works well
Good value and it fit well. I won’t say it was easy to install, because it wasn’t. Chances are if you need this part your fireplace is pretty old, thus taking it apart might be a challenge. Very likely you’ll have to take a good portion of your fireplace apart. It is not tricky, but rust will make it hard. I wish you all good luck.

Challenging Install But Works Great
Had to disassemble the entire fireplace, remove old gas, electric, etc. Then add new assembly and reinstall all components. It took a while, but works excellent. The flames stay lit and striker works first time. Works great.
