My Mrs prefers the Black knobs, can’t understand why. Anyway I won this time and we settled for the high polished chrome. They look great, easy to fit and well made.

Excellent value for money. A bit stiff to turn as both knobs are sprung but this can be remedied. With a pair of circlip pliers the circlip can be removed and the spring disengaged on one of them. Leave the spring in but not engaged to act as a spacer to stop the knob rattling. One sprung knob is just right as it offers springiness to both knobs as they are both connected via the spindle. I am surprised that the manufacturer does not sell the pair with just one sprung knob and save on manufacturing costs. They look good and have bought 3 sets so far. I may buy more to replace my "tired" brass knobs elsewhere in my house. By the way the knobs are 53mm and faceplate 58mm in diameter. Added 25/2/24 after a few people have asked. They still look like new after a few years.

Great product and easy(ish) to fit.Only two things I would note:1. The supplied screws were too long and didn't go fully in due to hitting the bolt. Bit of a hoarder so managed to find some that did fit.2. Most handles/knows have longer bolt screw fixings that connect knobs to each other for a bit of additional strength. These don't have those so time will tell on how durable they really are.Love the spring loaded which prevents the dog from opening the door (she's a sneaky thing).Pretty good value for money.

Looks nice but a nightmare to fix to the door! The knob is the same size as the baseplate, so it’s impossible to get the screws in straight. Out of 6 screws for both knobs, I only used 3, as I was getting annoyed with wonky screws!As others have mentioned, the knob is quite stiff to turn so could be difficult for a young child or an elderly person.

This chrome handle is stylish twist, but also could be very traditional on the right door.Excellent value for money.

excellent mortice door knob set, but be aware the spring in these knobs is very stiff, not good for anyone with arthritis in the hands
