Q: I'm trying to decide between getting this or 2 original Smoke Buddy's for roughly the same price, which would be the better value?

1 of these will easily last longer than 2 of the original

Q: How much larger is it than the normal SmokeBuddy?

Honestly its a good bit bigger, different shape (like the mini shape only mega sized) but the filter clogs almost as fast as the og round one. Personally like the normal round smoke buddy, this one wasn't worth the extra cost in my experience with it!

Q: When using this larger device, how does one define "heavy use"? 1 oz./Mo or 1/4 oz./Mo?

I used mine like 5 or 6 times (sometimes more ;)) a day for almost a month and was still working.. only thing is when it gets cold it can get a little hard to breath through..

Q: Is there a filter to clean

Nope. Eventually you'll have to toss it. I don't know when that is though. Mine is still working great and it's been about a year of occasional frequent use followed by periods of dormancy. I think the secrets to these things having a long life is to not ever use the caps that they come with and to rotate your Buddy - I never use the same Buddy for more than 1 day without giving it at least 2 days after to dry out.
