Nice clasic square watch
A nice classic square watch with roman numbers with month and date. it is a thick watch with good weight. if you take it off for several hours you should wind it five or ten turns unless the winder is stiff don't force it. for me the date and month are small and hard to read with out magnifiers. I do like the look of the watch.

Update: stopped working
Update: this watch no longer runs, even when manually wound for a long time.I have been wearing this watch for a couple of weeks now, and it is my first automatic mechanical watch. I have enjoyed watching the visible parts from the back, and it is an attractive watch to wear. But I do have to manually wind it once every day or two. I work a job where I do not move my hands around much, so it may not need as much intervention if I moved around more.I bought this watch because it was a cheaper mechanical watch I could try out, and I do wish it kept running for longer without manual winding. I do also wish that the roman numeral for 4 was IV instead of IIII as I have to look more closely to determine if it is after 3:00 or 4:00.

Watch description definitely not accurate
This watch stem broke and it isn't water resistant.I'd like a replacement or a refund

Cartier Santos Homage
I've read the other reviews for this watch. Here are my views. The automatic movement will power this watch without additional winding. Normal movement in the day will keep it powered. Manual winding was easy. However the crown was not completely flush to the case. Either this was a quality control issue or an attempted by the manufacturer to correct the winding difficulty. The watch face looks great and the case is sturdy. The case is thick. The movement is Chinese. The rotor is noisy but spins rapidly during movement to keep the mainspring wound. If you look at the seven numeral you will see the name of the watch brand as Jag Gar. My watch gains about a minute a day, but your accuracy may differ. This is over 99% accurate per day. This watch is not perfect, but it is good value for the money. The band is adequate, but if you want better just buy another band. It does look very much like a Cartier Santos. I'm satisfied with the watch.

Fit
Watch looks great. However it is very thick. Hard to fit under my dress shirts. Wound the watch 20 times and still ran out of power within the first day.

It is beautiful, elegant, accurate. I am very satisfied with it. Good choice.

Almost impossible to HAND WIND and VERY CHEAP!
Not much value here. Bought this watch because it was CHEAP. And it is just that, CHEAP. No complaints about its cheapness because I knew it was cheap before I bought it, but wanted a cheap watch for chores and such, something that if it got damaged, so what, I would not lose much. The watch is nice enough looking and it keeps adequate time, although I do not wear it much. I put a nicer metal bracelet on it which improves its looks considerably and makes it better for wearing. It is automatic wind, that is if worn. HOWEVER, nearly impossible to hand wind. The purposeful design, (very poor design, indeed!) makes it extremely difficult to hand wind, the crown set between two large lugs. Unless you have very tiny, and very very very tiny tiny fingers, winding by hand is next to impossible, a small wrench is needed, and then only a quarter turn at a time of the crown due to those obnoxious, ludicris, stupid crown lug protectors prevent any good winding. Don't quite know what the designers of this watch were thinking when putting the winding crown between two impossible to reach lugs, except the idiotic thinking is that one will wear just this watch and wear it for months on time without removing it from the wrist, so that wrist motion will keep it running and wound. But after putting the watch in the watch box for a long period of time (I have nearly 150 watches, so not every watch, including this one, get lots of wear). I must be more careful when purchasing watches so that I am certain that they are correctly designed and allow easy hand winding. This is my only square watch (most of my watches are round) but sadly, it will spend the most of its life in the watch box due to the extreme difficulty of starting it up (by hand winding, of course) when wanting to wear it. I truly do wonder where the brains of these watch designers are when they construct such an impossible watch to hand wind. Never again will I buy one of these things.
