Ordered for Work - Very nice!
These coasters are awesome! They suck up the sweat from cups so well. I love the holder they come with. I ordered them for one of my office breakrooms and they look very professional.

Absorbent and easy to clean
Anyone remember Tupperware? I think they're still around but during their peek my mom bought a bunch of coasters from them and some have been passed down to me. While they are very durable and easy to wash, they do not do as good of a job as we would like for them to do. We get a lot of sweat on the outside of our glasses and that floods the coasters so we often have to put a paper towel in the coaster and it ends up look very gross so I wanted to try some new sets. What appealed to me about these coasters is that they have a silicone exterior so they won't slide around and they have an absorbent felt pad that sits inside of the silicone piece so that condensation does not puddle up on the coaster and dripped all over the furniture and ourselves when we pick up the glass. I also liked that they were plain so we can use them anywhere in the house and outside. These coasters were exactly what I expected of them. They soak up condensation really well so we no longer waste paper towels and have dirty looking paper towels sitting in our coasters. They are easy to clean. I can toss them in the dishwasher or hand wash them. In the dishwasher, I place them vertically in between the bars and place a large, dishwasher safe, reusable container over them so that if they get dislodged they will not end up all over the dishwasher since they are small and light.I have been thinking about buying another set and trying to use iron-on vinyl on the felt to decorate them to our liking. The designs would be small and/or have a lot of openings to allow the felt to still absorb moisture. If I do this I will be sure to update and share some new photos.

Great coasters
We originally purchased the set in black. Since our tables are black, we added the light gray set so we could see them easier. The don't slide around and hold any size glass we use. Very absorbant, too.

Better than most
These work pretty well, they don’t slide around on your table and don’t stick to the bottom of your glass when you pick it up.They aren’t the most stable platform for a tall or skinny glass to stand on, but we haven’t had any fall over yet, so they’re doing something right.

Good slightly larger absorbent felt pad coaster - worth it.
There are many kinds of coasters, and you have to break them down into categories in order to properly review and decide which one(s) you want. So, let's see, there are:1. Decorative coasters - those you really don't put drinks on--yes, you can, but you wouldn't want to. These coasters are meant for looking. They are made of some fancy materials and you wouldn't want to ruin them. You probably can't clean them either.2. Wood or marble or ceramic coasters. These are basically hard, somewhat decorative, and meant as a piece of barrier between your drinks and the surface. Usually it's to protect a piece of fine wood (i.e. a table) against a hot mug. Cold? Not sure it hurts a wood table all that much. The problem is when cold mug/cup sweats, water drips but there is no where to go except drip over the coaster and onto the table you were supposed to be protecting. Oops.3. Soft rubber coasters. Same as the above, except made for soft rubber.4. Paper/Felt/Absorbent material coasters. These are the ones you find in a restaurant/bar because they want to absorb the water condensation. They are usually made of paper so they can be disposed of after use.So, there, depending on the situation, you really need one or more than one type of coaster. That's why I found these set to be the best of several worlds. Here's why:1. Soft rubber. It literally will go on every surface. Secondly, because it has a bit of sponginess to it, it works very well on very slick surface such as glass table. A typical hard-wood/glass/ceramic coaster will slide all over the place--and might damage the glass table from the coaster! (possible? sure! I had a piece of decorative glass coaster it had a jagged edge and it scratched my wood). So soft rubber is the way to go.2. What about water condensation? Perfect 2-in-1 combo: This coaster has a felt pad insert so it works like those restaurant/bar paper coasters to absorb the water. When wet, just pull it out and put it in the dish rack and it will dry over night. I wouldn't wash them because there is no need to--it's just water. If you did spill some drinks on the felt pad, just rinse under cold water, shake dry, and put in the dish rack and let it dry over night. The rubber coaster is easily dish cleaned.3. Non-skid backing. So this one is a 50/50 depending on what you want to do--if you do want to slide your drinks across the table as you sit and chat, OK this set is not for you--because this set is designed to have a solid, non-skid backing. This coaster is meant to STAY where it is placed. To move it, you need to lift it and put it back down where you want it. It is designed that if you push it, it will not move. You know when you are in a bar you play with your drinks at the table? Sure. But sometimes you don't want anything to slide around.. So, be aware. This set is non-skid. Also I have been calling them "rubber" when it really is silicon. I meant it as "rubbery" type of a surface in conceptual language. These are silicone, if to be perfectly accurate.4. Size matters. This coaster is slightly larger than your common, typical coasters. It was very important because it is large enough to accommodate a BIG 24 oz or 32 oz heavy beer mug. Often times I have coasters too small that the mug is larger such that water condensation drips off the side of the glass wall and directly onto the table. This coaster is big enough--finally! The biggest beer mugs I have will fit perfectly on this coaster. So, yes, size does matter.Lastly, this package contains 6 coasters - not four like many other products. I know 4 is probably OK but I guarantee you, when you have a party or have friends over, you probably need 5 or 6 coasters. Sometimes just 2 or 3 people need 6 coasters because each person has more than 1 drink, right? And an ice cream bowl? Plus a coffee? And a smoothie? So a matching set of 6 is actually the ideal quantity for a matching set of coasters. So, all things considered, and for the price paid (for 6 coasters), very nice. Worthy of 5-stars.Attaching some photos to show the felt pad insert (and it comes off), and how it is just a bit larger than a regular coaster. The thickness is the same as a typical coaster. Thanks for reading! Hope it helped you decide to buy or not! I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks!

Finally! Coasters that actually absorb!
I've tried Acacia, Cork, Stone, all of them fail. These pass with flying colors. Felt inserts dry quickly and are reversible with a different pattern on the other side. The inserts pop out of the rubber holder for cleaning, machine washable no doubt. Also includes a metal frame holder, which fits perfectly despite some other reviews. 10/10.

Works well!
I wanted coasters that didn't leak excess condensation everywhere and I got them! They're large felt pads with rubber/silicone(?) holders so they stay in place but keep water from going everywhere. They're lightweight and sleek in the black color. My only complaint is that if you have hairy dogs, their hair will stick to the felt like crazy. I just vacuum them off every once in a while.
