Contigo Byron 2.0 Stainless Steel Travel Mug with SNAPSEAL Lid and Grip, 16oz.

Heaven forbid I should step onto my morning commuter train without my mug of coffee. Even after I switched to decaf on doctor's orders, I still like to sip a just short of scalding cup of coffee on my morning ride to work. Good luck finding a coffee shop that has a pot of decaf ready to pour at 7 AM, though. Not even my local Starbucks has brewed decaf. "I'll be happy to brew you a cup fresh if you can wait 10 minutes" they say. "You're a coffee house, YOU HAVE ONE JOB!" was my response before rushing out the door to cross the street to catch my train (without coffee in hand). So there was nothing else to do but make my own, just the way I like it.I used to use a Bubba travel mug but it just plain wore out and they don't make that mug anymore. After going through at least a half dozen other travel mugs, this is the one that's worked the best and lasted the longest. It keeps my coffee super-hot, the snap release top is easy to use and it's very easy to clean. I liked it so much that I bought another one. I rotate between them.

This is the travel mug I've been looking for. I was so tired of lids that hit my nose, especially when wet with tea, and this magic lid never does that. It doesn't leak either--I always test it over the sink with a decent shake, and I've never seen so much of an escaping drop.I was glad other reviewers mentioned just how well the mug holds heat, because wow, it really does. I make my tea right in the mug and don't even try to drink it for a couple of hours.

I love the way this mug fits in my hand and my car holder. Keeps my coffee hot.

Stainless steel is sturdy, outside material makes the mug easy to grip. A fine quality product well-priced.

There are things I like about this Contigo travel mug. The 18-oz. capacity is just right for me. My coffee stays hot long enough. I love the Dragonfruit color. However, this mug fails for me in its most important function -- drinking coffee. When I use the (too) small round drinking opening, drops of coffee dribble down the side of the mug from the round opening, even ending up on my clothing, staining it, and/or landing on whatever is nearby. I have tried several different sipping techniques. It shouldn't be so hard to find a well-functioning travel mug. This is my third recent attempt.

Really enjoy the 16 ounce size of the Contigo flasks. Keeps my drink really cold, even overnight. When I wake up in the morning, I can have a refreshing cool or cold drink. Leak proof. I think only time will tell how the top endures. I like the design for one handed operation and the grip around the sides. So far I really like it! Fits in the hand nicely and the car also. Easy to clean and stays cold. Neat! For me one of the best designs since my old REI mug.
