Very, very good!
Great price, mixes very well (good consistency).Tastes more like salted caramel than chocolate (it says chocolate on the label lol) but it's a nice flavour anyway so I don't care too much haha.Good bang for your buck re; strength/serving size. Smooth and easy drinking, nice sized bag and effective stuff. Will buy again.

Best value on amazon at 24.99. One unexpected side-effect.
I'm a geek so I did the math. This works out to 33p per serving, where each serving contains 23g protein. There are 75 servings in the tub, so it works out at £19.81 per 30 days at 2 servings a day. I compared 9 other powders on a freaking spreadsheet instead of doing my actual job, and this was not only the cheapest but also had the highest protein-per-gram content. So that's a huge bonus to start with. Now management want a meeting to discuss my 'performance', but the only performance I care about is on bench press am I right? Anyway.Questions:Does it blend well? With a shaker ball yes it blends very well, I have no issues with texture at all, it's a smooth frothy drink, no grit at all. Doesn't need shaking till the end of eternity either. How does it taste? When mixed 1 scoop to 200ml water, it tastes like an artificially sweetened chocolate milk, not luscious, but far from unpleasant. BUT I have found that it's actually really moreish, and I look forward to it now.Does it give you sweet gainz? Too early to tell, but if you are looking at your macros and finding it hard to up the protein to 1.8g/kg of bodyweight then powder up baby because we're taking a trip to gainzville.Anything else? Actually yeah. First day I took a single serving, the next morning I woke up feeling noticeably clearer-headed and happy for the first time in a long while. The next day, I just felt happy and in a good mood which is sort of unusual. It turns out there is a theoretical link between whey protein and treatment of depression symptoms. Now I'm not claiming that this is a magic happy powder, I admit over the past month or two I have also been doing more exercise and have cut down on alcohol, but the difference with this powder was literally overnight I felt better. Time will tell if it continues (will give you an update in a month), but it seems that other people have noticed a similar effect with whey protein, and it's just something I wanted to note as I had no idea before.Update 3 months later, still taking this powder approx once a day. I feel more positive but it's really hard to pin it down to one factor. Exercise and "feeling like you're taking care of yourself" is likely to contribute to improved mood too. But still, it was an instant difference when I first started taking it and I had no idea there was a link beforehand.

Incredible for the price, can't complain!
To start off, I got this on sale for about £12.70 / kg, an incredible price in the current protein powder economy so I admit I'm a little biased from getting such a good price. It tastes really nice, a little artificial tasting when having it with water but I have it with unsweetened soy milk and it tastes great that way! more protein as well. It's consistency is nice and creamy, however it does not mix super well from a shaker bottle. But honestly? i like the clumps, and I absolutely do not mind chewing through pudding-like protein goodness before getting to the shake, but it's something to keep in mind if you hate stuff like that, use a blender or hot milk or something. It's packaging has a sealable zip-loc thing but it does not work lol. but once again, £12.70 / kg!!! so I just use a food clip to close it up and it's perfectly sealed up this way.Overall, in spite of the issues, I'm very happy with this product, if you buy a budget product, you have to embrace the issues to enjoy the upsides for a great price. £12.70 per kilo!!!!! buy it when it's on sale but don't buy it when it's not. And enjoy good bargains!! 11/10 personally but 4/5 stars as a product.

An Excellent Product
For the price, the protein to carb/sugar ratio and the mixability, it is an excellent product and one I will be exclusively buying in the future. It tastes fine for what it is, a protein shake. I know some folks like their protein shakes to be as 'tasty' as possible and will mark them down based on this but don't listen to them, this is a fine tasting product.
