Angry Ninja: A Children’s Book About Fighting and Managing Anger (Ninja Life Hacks)

This book is an amazing book because it shows that something so simple could help you child with anger. It sounds simple but it will be hard for them to get use to doing. I highly recommend this book for all children who gets angry. You Won't Be Angry For Long I highly recommend this book for adults who get angry. Angry Ninja is angry at his sister for not asking before using his jumping rope. He got very angry and it exploded. Later Positive Ninja went to play with Angry Ninja and He saw that Angry Ninja was about to explode his anger. He took him aside to talk. What did he say? Did it help him? Did it help you? Reading/listening is the best way to find out the words of Positive Ninja. Happy read/listening!!!!!

My 5 yr was recently diagnosed with ADHD. In reading this book to him - he recognized the actions in the book. We then talked about how he feels when angry and what to do. It is another tool to help him.

So one of my amazing children has ODD and it causes him to not be able to control his moods/feelings. So we practice different techniques and learn how to voice what our moods or feelings are. When I found this book series I thought, oh this might help him but also all my other kids. Because, kids no matter the age need to know how to help their moods. The illustrations in this book are amazing and colorful. It really draws your attention to the book. The text in this book is also equally amazing. They talk about how over times things start to make you more angry and over time it can cause you to blow up. Which for a kid with ODD that is often very common. Anyways, my kids really liked this story and actually we all practice using the technique they talk about in the book. I highly recommend checking this book out.

As a counselor of young children, I have used several of these ninja books. What I like most is that there is diversity in the characters so that it is easier for the student to relate to the ninjas and most books come with well thought out, easy to remember strategies to help address the issue. If you go to the ninja website, there are other resources to use to support the use of the books.

Wow, my son 6yrs loves these books. The images and vibrant colors helps him stay focused long enough to get through the whole thing. I’ve ordered almost every book!!!!!!

It’s a good start to helping kids manage their emotions. It would be the kind of book I would put in the children’s collection so adults would read it too. ;)

This book has been excellent at prompting conversations with my child about dealing with anger outbursts and how to deal with them. Its short with great illustrations. Easy to read to and be read by children.

This is a great idea but itis a very short book. Not sure it is worth the price. Will keep for a very frustrated grandchild who struggles with emotion. It enforces what we teach him.

I love the author’s Arial Unicorn books, and couldn’t wait to check out her new ninja series. These books have bright, bold illustrations and short snippets of text. Perfect for beginner readers and young listeners.Kids love ninja’s, and will love following the story of angry ninja and his problems controlling his temper. When positive ninja gives him some helpful tips, angry ninja tries them out the next time he is about to explode. The perfect way to deliver simple life skills advice to little ones!
