Very strong, great fit, very sturdy! Looks great!

The media could not be loaded. I haven't had them long but just noting as others have, that you can heat these up and whack it on the size of stock that you need to hold.When they arrived there was no gap at the front of the tongs and would hold about a half inch stock.In the photos here you can see a sword that I'm working on that's about an inch and a half and the tongs work fine once adjusted. Only took about 10 minutes.

My husband has been using his clamps often and absolutely loves them

I'm using this to hold longer pieces of flat stock that extend past the boss. They do their job well, and are pretty easy to hold with the nice handle cross-section. That cross-section gives them a little springiness, which I like. I would have preferred them to have a little more of a V-shaped jaw, as the right angle at the jaw opening makes it a little hard to guide the stock into the right place. I may cut a chamfer or radius on the jaws to correct this.
