This fan is well made
Bought this fan (got the 2 fan package) for the chicken coop to help pull the Florida heat out of the coop, I got the 12” fans to install in the gable ends of the coop, I was surprised to hear they were not crazy loud and moved a lot of air. Installation was very smooth all parts were good quality, the self closing louvres are really smooth I would recommend this fan

Works great!
I didn’t have an opening for a big attic fan so I got two of these at 12” for a couple of small upstairs windows and they work great to pull hot air out of the house. I’ve barely needed to turn on my AC at all this summer.

Nice small quiet fan
Bought this due to small space available. Not difficult to install- I direct wired mine thru thermostat. Have yet to install second unit at other end oh house. Attic very much cooler- for August. Need to be under it outside to know it is working - quiet. Shutters do not completely close when off- will look into that in fall

nice fans at a nice price
I used one to increase airflow through a roof vent inn the. garage by taking the louver section off and boxing in between the trusses. The other became an actual roof gable vent fan. I added a thermostat control to both. My only complaint would be if a person was going to hardwire them. In that case, the junction box built in the the fan motor is much to small to deal with solid core Romex. This didn't. bother me too. much. because I used the supplied plug-in cords. Even the were a tight fit. when you. need to fit in the small orange supplied wire nut. I almost. knocked off a star for that but the are so quiet and reasonable that I decided they are still worth the 5

Quiet Operation and Moves A Lot of Air
I paired this fan with a thermostat to help control the internal temperature of a generator enclosure. The intended use was to have the thermostat trigger the fan (which was very easy to install make the necessary electrical connections) during times when the generator is running and increasing the temperature. Although I have routed the exhaust outside of the enclosure, the muffler and engine still generate quite a bit of heat.What I've discovered is that the Texas heat triggers the thermostat even though the generator's not running at all. The fan does a great job of moving air through the enclosure and ensuring the temperatures don't get way out of hand.Would highly recommend!
