Stakich Raw Honey - Pure, Unprocessed, Unheated, Kosher - 5 Pound (80 Ounce)

This raw honey is really good!We've bought the 5lb container of the regular raw honey before and it was delicious. This time I wanted to try the different honeys Stakich has to see if a different one was better. I found the Buckwheat was absolutely delicious with its dark brown, thick, maple syrup-like flavor. It's also supposed to have higher antioxidant properties than the regular raw honey. I also like the smell of it and can eat it by the spoonful.The regular raw honey is sweeter, lighter colored, has a thick creamy texture, and still tastes great and smells good.The propolis/bee pollen/royal jelly honey I found to be too grainy with a weird tangy smell/taste.

I decided to try this brand even though most of the reviews were very mixed. Some absolutely loved it, others said it was terrible and some went on and on about bad customer service from the seller. I'm from Michigan and love to support Michigan products so I've tried it. I found it to be very, very good raw honey. It came very fast, was packaged well. The honey appears to be exactly the same as the other raw honeys I have purchased on Amazon, (ecxcept for the price, it was approximately $1.00 less expensive per pound) it is creamy, jjust the right thickness, do, efinatetly not runny or watery or crystallized. It's pure, raw, creamy and delicious! It arrived to my home in the evening, I didnt hear the truck so it sat outside all night. We had a heavy frost. I brought my package in the next morning. My honey appeared fine even after being exposed to a temperature not advisable for honey, raw or otherwise. I opened it, tasted it. It was cold, a little bit hard, but I left it on the kitchen counter for two hours and tasted again. It was room temperature, creamy, and not even a bit crystallized! After my honey was abused by being left out in the cold I didn't expect such a wonderful outcome. So in closing all I can say is this honey is definatetly excellent. After surviving the cold I was sure it would be grainy. Being that it survived as it did, in my opinion this is a very, very excellent quality raw honey. I have already ordered another 5# jar because I want to beat the snow! I'm not sure any raw honey would survive that.

I’ve purchased a number of various raw honey brands here on Amazon and in my opinion the Stakich is by far the best one. The texture is thick enough for a slow drizzle on your toast and can be rolled onto a spoon without running off too fast. This is pure raw, unfiltered unheated honey. The flavor is more of a desert honey and not too floral and not too sweet.This is the second jar I ordered within a week as I feared they may not have this batch by the time I run out of the first jar.This will be my honey of choice going forward as long as the company maintains this high level of quality.

I recently tried this honey, and I must say, I found it to be excessively sweet, reminiscent of pure sugar rather than the nuanced flavors I was hoping for. In my experience with raw, unfiltered, and unheated honey over the past few years, I've come to appreciate the depth and complexity that high-quality honey can offer. Unfortunately, this particular product did not live up to my expectations. The taste felt flat and overwhelming, lacking the rich floral notes and subtle undertones I grew accustomed to. Given its flavor profile and sweetness level, I’m left feeling that it did not provide good value for the price I paid. Overall, it was a disappointing experience compared to the artisanal honeys I typically enjoy.

Delicious honey creamy and absolutely the best I have ever had except it comes in a plastic jar which I don’t like and I’m gonna just transfer to a jar glass, but hopefully someday they will sell it in a glass jar. I would prefer it.

I'm very satisfied! The fresh taste and smell was very noticeable upon opening the jar. But the seal comes off with the lid, so it's like it was never affixed, and that's alarming. I bought two jars so far, and the second one was the same way. I just worry that someone could tamper with the product. ☆☆☆☆
