Fits deep in shirt pocket and writes very nice after break in period using a couple of sheets
It is shorter than I expected, but perfectly balanced and useable when posted mine is a fine and makes a nice , legible mark on the page. Writes well on regular printer paper or expensive paper. There was a bit is scratchiest but after writing on a few pages has smoothed out nicely. Only a slight amount of feedback remains. Very smooth writer now. It did not come with a converter. That requires an extra five days to arrive. I’ll recycle empty catridges the old flashed way until the converter arrives. All in all a very nice pen firs very deep in my shirt pocket. I would recommend to anyone shopping for a fountain pen

Writes beautifully
I just bought this pen. The price was very low which made me wonder if there was something wrong with it. I took a chance and there is nothing wrong with it. A beautiful writer. I have other gold nib Sailors, a Platinum 3776, Lamy 2000. This pen is right up there with them.

fabulous pen but included cartridges run dry quickly
fabulous pen but included cartridges run dry quickly if not used weekly; unlike my Pelikan that still works fine after month of no use, but using an ink draw system on Pelikan. Maybe I'll try the ink converter with my Sailor to see if better. Decent price for this shorter fountain pen.

A small nice pen with sailor quality
The pen came nicely packed, with 2 cartridges and documents in the box. No converter is included but for the price (60 bucks for a 14k nib), I am not expecting a converter anyway. The pen itself is small, more towards a pocket size pen but can still write unposted for people with small-to- medium hands. It is shorter than Lamy 2000 both capped and uncapped. The nib (fine) is a true Japanese fine, which is on the finer side (I would say finer than a western EF). It does give a “toothy” feedback relative to Lamy 2000 or pilot 743/845, not it is not scratchy at all. In a way, it writes and feel like a pencil, if you know what I mean.Perfect for everyday use. Again for the price, it beats most, if not all, 14k pens.highly recommended for people who prefer finer pens with more feedback.

Best value for money
Have a wide range of fountain pens from Mont Blanc to aurora. This is by far the smoothest nib I have ever used. Great ink flow as well.

Lovely pen but missing the converter inside
Good pen but it didn’t come with the converter. Only received two cartridges.Somehow the flow of ink is not too smooth and the pen skips in between making the writing experience irritable.

Excellent pen
I ordered this and when it arrived I was excited to see it. I opened the box and it was empty. I put in a service request and promptly received the replacement. The pen is a great size for everyday carry and is smooth as silk. Thank you for the great service and great pen!

Sailor. great nibs and classic styling.
Exactly as advertised. My box was missing its converter that I know ships standard with the pen. Knocked a star for that.
