🔥 Elevate Your Towel Game!
PTC heating elements are the latest and most energy efficient towel rail heating elements on the market today. . PTC technology unlike traditional heating elements that use a resistance wire, use ceramic stones. These ceramic stones are manufactured to heat up to a around 65 degrees and then maintain that temperature by reducing the power used. Initially the element will use 300 watts of power until the rail reaches its’ designed operating temperature of 65°C after which it will reduce the electrical used by as much as 30%. As a result, a separate thermostatic control unit is not required, and the heating element uses significantly less electricity than a conventional heating elements. The 600watt element is suitable for 300mm and 400mm wide x 1800mm and 500mm and 600mm wide x 1600mm to 1800mm high towel rails. This element can also be used to convert a standard central heating towel warmer to run on electricity – perfect for when you don't want to alter your central heating pipework, Or also set up your rail to be duel duel so central heating in the winter and electric in the summer

Easy to fit.
Fitted this element to bathroom towel rail. It is supposed to be configured to heat the water up to 60c but when the element is on it sounds as though the water in the towel rail is boiling. I hope it isn't.

Fitted Perfectly.
My previous towel rail element started leaking and there was no easy way to stop it. The new element is the same power and has a hexagonal nut exposed to allow tightening if a leak starts.

Disgusted.
This product was not new. The 1000mm cable was cut to 400mm. I connected the heater temporarily and it did not heat. The threaded portion looked as if it had previously been in another radiator. I suspect an earlier client had fitted the actual new unit and returned their unit as unsuitable or faulty. When it arrived with me it sat in the bottom of the package with the protective packing all above it.

Exactly what we were after
Bought for two towel radiators, when we realised they didn't come with the radiators. Fit perfectly and work like a dream. Easy to fit and got an electrician to wire them into the mains. Provide plenty of heat, and no need for a thermostat, although you can fit one if you wish. Someone else said theirs made a noise whilst heating, we haven't experienced this, but filled them up with water to the top so wonder if it's caused by air circulating, as we have now got a completely closed filled unit.
