This set is a great value. I feel like I'm playing backgammon in a well-appointed living room. The checkers have a nice heft to them. The case is well made.

I ordered tournament backgammon board which was advertised 26inch opened board and it was 24inch. Pieces advertised 1.5inch diameter and were smaller. Board closing clips were cheap and loose. I couldn’t return it because I bought it as gift and didn’t open it until after return window was closed. This was August 2024. I recently ordered another board advertised as 26in open length and was 24in and pieces were smaller so the same situation occurred. I’m in the process of trying to get refund and return to gammonvillage. This is false advertisement not once but twice. Beware when you order tournament boards. If I don’t get this refund or replacement I will be adding another review.

Set is great . Seller fixed an issue fast. Quality is good the pieces have some good weight to them.

Great value with the current $25 off for the set at just under $75. Bought 2 of these to keep "some" people entertained during the NFL playoffs. The outside is a simulated PU leather and is easy to clean (just don't get it near anything hot). The inside playing felt area should hold up for casual use and muffles the dice sound adequately. The 1.25" checkers are ok for being plastic. Luckily, both sets were put together well with no complaints on the workmanship. For the price, the 21" larger size is great for tournament play. I was torn in getting another single more expensive wood backgammon set, BUT as it's more for casual play and not really for display, it made sense not to go crazy on a high end 19" size single game. Especially, with the chance of damage, spillage, etc...

This is my 3rd time buying this product. I give private backgammon lessons and the large dimensions make this an easy set to use. It foods up great and clean up well.

As other people have said the size is not as advertised. Could have lived with that but less than 6 months in board is falling apart. Handle has fallen off and closures never worked well. Would not recommend this product
