This rug is very soft, fluffy, and pretty. But the backing is one of my favorite parts, it does not slip or slide around on the hardwood floors and it's very sturdy. I washed it for the first time today, gentle cycle, cold water, and then let it dry outside in the sun. It looks brand new again! It adds a really nice fun pop of color to the room and is very reasonably priced .

Purchased 2 of these rugs for my grand daughters for Christmas and I was really surprised how plush these rugs were. Beautiful, eye-catching turquoise color, very well made, and easy to clean. They come in vacuum sealed bags so it does take them a day or so to "fluff up" after removing them from bag, but well worth the wait. A great value and I will definitely be buying more of them.

Beautiful rug. Plush and soft. Perfect for granddaughters room. Only down side was the awful chemical smell. I got a terrible headache from it. Was concerned it would be toxic for my granddaughter. I tossed the rug in a cool air dryer for an hour but it still smelled. I hung it outside for 24 hours and it worked!

The fabric is soft and the perfect amount of thickness. The rug lays flat and the pick color is bright and beautiful! Good quality and really easy to clean fits in the washer, no problem. Super easy to use.

I absolutely love, love, love this rug. I had bought the 4×6 rug before and it held it through so many washes in the washing machine. I have a 1 year old but as a parent, you already know how messy babies can be through that phase. Diaper blowouts and spilled bottles. The machine washable was very important to me cause a little vacuum and wipe down wasn't gonna cut it. I had bought a different one that looked similar and what a nightmare. It was so flat. It gave no cushion to my tile floor. This one though is extremely soft and fluffy. Great quality that really holds up. It doesn't slip on my tile floor either. I ended up returning the other one due to the stitching already coming off and decided to go with the 5×8 of this rug. I will only be buying these for the machine washable rugs in the future. Absolutely 110% recommend this rug!

I gave this rug as a gift, and while it’s very soft and looks nice, it’s much thinner than expected. On wood floors, it doesn’t offer much cushion or warmth, and it doesn’t stay in place — it shifts around easily. It might work better in a carpeted room or with a rug pad underneath, but on its own, it’s not ideal for hardwood. Still, it’s a nice decorative piece if you're not relying on it for comfort.

I purchased the 5 x 8 black rug about almost a month ago. It arrived super fast, vacuum sealed in a tiny square. Soon as I popped open the plastic, it instantly fluffed out inside the bag. Once I pulled it out and opened it up there was no problem setting it into place. There was absolutely NO funny smell that other reviews went on and on about. Only thing that it smelled like was, BRAND SPANKING NEW!!! That's like complaining about a new car smell, or the smell of brand new shoes...like huh, really? How is that a bad thing.? To each his own I guess.In the pic you can see the rug lays perfectly flat on the floor. There was no weird lines or creases from it being folded and sealed up. In my case, I opened the package soon as it arrived. I'm guessing the longer you wait to open it, the higher the risk of creases, and or a funky smell. That's just my common sense though, everyone works at their own pace. Anyway, the rug is quite large...I bought it like that on purpose as to cover as much of the carpet underneath as possible and still be able to walk around it. I simply tucked the rest of it under the couch as you can see in the pic.The rug itself is SUPER soft and feels amazing on your feets. I have a "no shoes on the rug" rule now, but I live alone so that's easy to enforce. In regard to upkeep, the rug does attract dirt easy, but it's easy to spot and or feel it under your feet...like a twig or a crumb of something you can simply just pull off the rug. When I do eventually vacuum the rug, it will be easy since one half is already being held own by the couches, the other half I have weights I can put on the corners. Easy call.In closing: this rug is certainly worth the little price being asked. It's a rug people, don't expect it to sing and dance for you or not get dirty. It will stay as fresh and clean as long as you take care of it. It does have a bit a slippery feel when you first get it set up. That will eventually go away with time. And it seems to get fluffier after a few days, out the bag it can appear a little flat. Just give it sometime....or simply run your feet back and forth over it a few times to the fibers standing up in different directions.If you're not sure...just bite the bullet and BUY this rug. Simply put, it will make your room and your life....better.I'm extremely satisfied with mine, you will be too. Unless you're the type of person that complains about,"new smell".:)
