So first off, cards on the table: I'm a middle aged guy and I've always been a bit of a sweaty boy. I have Scottish blood so I sweat in a snow storm and burn under a full moon so like most of my kin I need to take care with what I put on my skin. I also work in nursing so lots of 13 hour shifts in roasting hot wards where the older patients screech if you try and open a window!Mostly I've always used which-ever "strong" deodorant I could find in the supermarket. Generally most of the brands I've used don't do much, in fact if I use spray it reacts with my sweat and forms into a waxy substance that gums up my tee-shirts and is really tricky to get out. If I use normal roll-on it doesn't seem to do much, white tee-shirts end up yellow within a few months, I've even had cheap tee-shirts dissolve under the arms because my sweat is so caustic. Needless to say, my sweat gives my milky white skin a lovely sweat rash.The balance for me then, is to have a product that stops the sweat, doesn't ruin my clothes, and won't irritate my baby-fish skin.There are prescription products that are supposedly quite effective, but I don't have hyperhydosis. I know Amazon is a notorious source of snake oil, but reading some reviews led me to this product. I've been stung by amazon before when it comes to toiletries but I decided to give it a go.I was concerned about the skin irritation that many users reported, I know some people can have random reactions to things like this. I opted to buy the "comfort" version just to be safe.On receiving the product I first applied a very small amount onto the back of my hand in order to check if my skin reacted. After 15 min I saw no redness or felt any itching.As per the instructions I cleaned and completely dried my armpits, applied 4 strokes of the roller under each arm, and lightly used my hand to spread the liquid round the entire under-arm area without rubbing it in too much.I'm not sure if it was psychosomatic - from reading the comments here - but I may have felt a slight tingle for the first 5 minutes but there was no real reaction as far at I could tell.Usually when my central heating comes on ill be roasting hot and get a bit of sweat going so this was a good initial test - I definitely sweated less than normal.The instructions also suggested that you use this product every day for the first five days, then once every 2/3 days after that. I've now been using every 2 days and have noticed an improvement in the amount of under-arm sweat. I'm not bone dry, but I'm also not soaking. I've also noted an improvement in sweat smell - a constant issue for those of us wearing cheap nhs uniforms.I think next time I'll try the "original" version, I think if you follow the instructions closely there should be minimal irritation. I would say that this product exceeded my expectations but does fall short of keeping me completely dry - I feel this is the trade off when using the "comfort" version.

A miracle! Bought this comfort one as the strong one caused me a lot of pain/itching. This one is perfect for anyone who is a little sensitive. It doesn't cause me any discomfort. It works perfectly, just apply a few strokes at bed time and then in the morning wash off. It has stopped any bad smells. I am so over the moon as my high pressured job means i can sweat and sometimes leave work with a slight odour - which isn't great! It's been a game changer!

I've had this brand before so know about the burning sensation. But this gives more an itch that can last for days after use and washes.But it does the job, and if rather be randomly itchy now and then, then have sweat patches!Doesn't dry too quickly and is small in size but that doesn't put me off our base.

The best antiperspirant available, works for problem perspiration with minimal irritation. Only need to use once a week in winter and two or three times a week in summer. I work out, walk the dog at a fast pace and do manual work in the garden and still manage to stay odour free in hot weather. Could not manage without this product.

Very effective, very good resistance and drys quick. Very pleasant would recommend.

I don't leave reviews often and I was really sceptical when buying this. I don't swear excessively, but a fair bit when it's warm. It became annoying when I was starting to avoid certain clothes. I gave this a go and it is fantastic. It does sting slightly upon first application, but it didn't last long and didn't cause redness. Really impressed. I'll be buying again.

This is a great product when they send the right one.Unfortunately on this occassion they sent the strong rather than the comfort which I had ordered (and previously used). As I was going on holiday I didn't pay attention when opening.But when on holiday I ended up in pain and irritable due to a burn/ rash which developed under my arm. I then realised the mistake.I've previously used the strong but stopped ordering for this reason. I therefore moved to the comfort which didn't cause this irratatiin/ pain and worked really well - as I say, if they send you the right product.

I've been using this for two weeks and am in love with it. I am naturally a sweaty person anyway but i'm also on SSRI's which excabate this. I also exercise daily so naturally work up a sweat in the gym.I have only ever used regular standard roll ons / sprays. Sure, Nivea etcThis roll on has caused me no discomfort or pain on my skin as I was worried it may. I know it is a weaker strength than some super strong antiperspirants but it is definitely a good one to start with to see how your body gets on with the new stronger antiperspirant if you've never tried one before like me.I have noticed less odour from my sweat and decreased amounts. My tshirts are much dryer under the arm :) Not 100% dry and not a drop but i'd say 40% less. Odour throughout and at the end of the day is reduced by maybe 85% and is virtually gone. It is winter in England so expect this % to change during a sweaty summer!I'm travelling to warmer/humid climes next month so will be taking this with me. I'm tempted to try the high performance / regular extra strength version.I have nightsweats and wake up dripping all over my body. I woke up the other night soaked everywhere except my armpits! Would love to roll this all over my whole body haha (not sure if this is my best idea/safe).I would recommend this product to anyone with a slight problem with sweat amounts and odour. If you have a severe problem I think you'd need something stronger.
