Raven’s Brew Coffee - Double Dead™ - Dark Roast, Naturally High Caffeine (Whole Bean, 12 oz)

This is great coffee! We use whole bean for retaining freshness. The caffeine content is high and noticeable. This is definitely a "wake me up" brew. I was surprised that it is not bitter at all. I am sensitive to high acid and did not notice any problems. Best words to describe this coffee are smooth, rounded and craveable. Already on my 3rd order. We drink approx. 1 & 1/2 pots per day.

Brewed with a Hario pour over, this coffee is perfectly smooth, dark, but not at all bitter. Acidity is low, this coffee did not bother my partner whose stomach doesn’t agree with bright acidic coffee varieties.I don’t know how they do it! I often drink coffee “Boston style” with half & half and sweetener. This coffee is so smooth that I can enjoy it more like a shot of espresso, black.It’s not the most complex in flavor, but I drink this on days when my first conference call of the day is 6am, or in the afternoon when my attention span needs a kick in the pants. The extra caffeine is noticeable, but not unpleasant if you’re not prone to caffeine jitters.Definitely worth a try, and if you like it, buy a 5 lb bag.

Amazing taste, smoothness, & aroma. Never bitter. I only put butter in my coffee & the combination gives this coffee a pretzel like flavor.However, heed the caffeine warnings as this does have a stronger kick than normal coffee. I made the mistake of drinking too much too quickly (mainly due to it tasting so good), and it wasn't a fun time. I saw this product in Skagway, AK while on vacation and regretted not buying it, so I got it on Amazon. The product boasted of super caffeinated coffee so my hopes were high. The beans smelled extremely strong, which was good. The flavor was excellent. But for me there was no difference between it and my regular brand of coffee I buy. No extra boost. Granted it could be because I drink so much coffee I could just be used to the caffeine. I don’t know. Like I said, it tasted good, but for a few dollars more I can get a whole lot more coffee from Eight O’Clock.

Discovered this coffee from the artist Ray Troll, Alaskan Hero, who does all the bag art. This has been my go to coffee since 2014. Truly the best.

I have a new Nespresso coffee maker and wanted to refill my pods with coffee that had a higher caffeine content. I figured in doing so, I would give up flavor for increased caffeine strength. But Double Dead not only has the “jolt” but also great flavor. I grind the beans into espresso and refill all cup sizes. Double Dead produces a “crema” that is thicker and has more flavor than the other pods offered by Nespresso. Highly recommend!

Great taste, strength and quality of the coffee. It has a good flavor, no bitter after taste and is smooth robust caffeine content. A bit expensive though
