FOLLOW-UP ONE WEEK LATER:I'm adding to my initial review because I've seen a couple of reviews in which people have said this product worked initially, but the clog returned a a few days later. I have no explanation for that because I don't know what their clogs were, but after a week, my drain is still completely clear and draining beautifully.INITIAL REVIEW:The sink in my bathroom was so clogged that, when I turned on the hot water, it was backing up into the sink before the water even got hot. It drained, but was extremely slow. I dumped a WHOLE bottle of Drano MAX down the drain and I heard what I'm pretty sure was laughter from the clog. The Drano did nothing whatsoever (never buying that again), even after letting it sit for over two hours.I was pretty sure the clog was mostly from denture adhesive (don't ask) and hair, so I thought I'd either have to contact a plumber or remove the P-trap pipe and manually dig it clean. Before doing that I decided to try this product.I poured in the whole bottle and waited about 2-3 hours (I don't remember because I'd actually forgotten about it, being busy with something else). I had boiled some water for a meal I was preparing, and decided to pour what was left into the drain, after filling several cups with water from the faucet and pouring it into the toilet until it got hot. The boiled water went down the drain with a serious quickness, an when I ran the now hot water from the tap, it was super fast. I even poured a 16 oz. cup of water into the sink, and it all went down in seconds, no backup whatsoever, where it was backing up before. The drain now works like it always did.I cannot recommend this product more, since most drain cleaners are focused on grease and hair, but this case was something altogether different, and it still worked extremely well. I don't know what might be clogging YOUR drain, but I definitely suggest you try this before anything else, and certainly before calling a plumber!

I've got long hair, this has really stopped having to snake out the bathroom tub drain.

Forget Drano, forget Liquid Plumber, this is the best product on the market as far as I'm concerned. I had a clogged shower this morning so I poured the entire one liter bottle into the mess and stood there and watched. In less than 5 minutes I heard water rushing and the drain was completely open. I've been using this product for years now and swear by it!

I used the whole bottle and followed the instructions perfectly for my bathroom sink, but it did not work at all. I ended up having to buy Liquid Plumber, which ended up doing the trick. Would not buy again.

This stuff really works

I was a bit worry cause my shower drain was completely stop with a pool of water standing. I saw the reviews and feel good about it so i ordered 3 bottles since my sister has long hair. Ok. I pour 1/2 bottle straight down and it it sit for awhile. No fume. No smoke. No sizzling sound. No nothing. Dead silent. I was thinking OH Crap. What the hell. So i read the super fine print on the bottle. Best way is snap a picture and read the text. It says leave alone for awhile. So OK. I did and later i came back and its gone completely with the puddle. I start running water and WOW. My drain is so fast now that i never thought it could do that. Its working great since.

For the bargain price and quick drainage this little bottle is powerful and was a total surprise to me. Although they advise to use the entire bottle I only used half of it and it opened my drain in minutes. It works better than the pricey name-brands!
