Great set of Shocks
These Shocks worked well for my 2014 EZGO TXT which was one of the carts that was listed for these shocks. They were easy to install.

No Rebound on shocks - there meant to be like that
Install (front only) was very easy on lifted 2006 Ezgo TXT. Didn’t need to jack up the cart or take the wheels offOne thing to note is when you take them out of the box there is no rebound in the shock. You can compress them by hand and they will stay in the compressed position. I thought this was odd as a standard shock absorber would expand naturally. I did some research and found an install video on YouTube where the shocks did not rebound. I read elsewhere they are more of a damper than a shock. I decided to install them anyway, and they work great so far. The reason I only gave four stars is because I reached out to customer service online and via phone and did not get a response.

Installation tip for EZGO TXT cart
Shocks work as expected, you'll definitely want to replace old shocks and upgrade to heavy duty springs BEFORE installing a rear seat/box assembly - even if your old shocks aren't bad yet. It's relatively inexpensive vs taking everything off when they do go bad.Installation tip for EZGO TXT - due to the design of my 2000 EZGO TXT, installing the top of the shock is very difficult because the top of the shock goes into a 1.5" x 1.5" piece of the frame, and about 2.5" inwards. And you need to "stack" the rubber bushing, washer & nut over the hole prior to putting the top of the shock thru the hole. To make this easier, stack the bushing/washer/nut on top of each other, wrap that assembly with a piece of masking or painters tape, then make a hole in the tape where the screw top of the shock will go thru. Then put a crumpled-up piece of paper towel in the frame and push past the mounting hole. Then push the assembly over the mounting hole (the paper towel will keep it from going too far into the frame), hold the assembly in place with a screwdriver or needle nose, then push the top of the shock thru the mounting hole. Screw in & tighten. This is not a design defect of the shock, but a design defect of the cart itself.
