I've loaded it up with all sorts of weights, and it's held up like a champ. It's got a nice, comfortable grip that feels great in my hands, and the knurling gives me just the right amount of grip to keep from dropping it on my toes (trust me, I've done that before). And let's not forget the best part - the "Lumberjack" design etched into the bar. It's like having a motivational coach screaming "TIMBER!" every time I hit a new PR. All in all, I'd say this bar is definitely worth the investment. It's like having a personal lumberjack without all the grunting and sweaty flannel.

I was looking for a bar for my home gym and came across this. With good reviews and a reasonable cost I thought I'd give it a go!The good: It's a very sturdy bar. It's the right weight, right length. I like the knurl pattern and placement - not too rough, but plenty of grip. The rotation is better than I expected, very smooth and quiet. The black paint seems to be holding up well.The bad: At this price, not much really.Other comments: It's got a little more whip than I was expecting - good for Olympic lifts but when loaded (150lb+) for bench pressing you can feel it "bounce" if you lift explosively.It was also very oily when it turned up - excessively so. This probably prevents rust during storage/shipping. Just wipe it off with some paper towels when the bar arrives and you'll be set.

This bar is amazing. Before I bought it, I was actually looking into deadlift bars. The prices on those get up to almost $1000 and starts at a minimum 400 shipped for a decent (brand name) one. I bought this bar because I soon realized I'll be benching and squatting with it as well. I loaded up 405 on the bar for some deadlifts and it was surprisingly smooth and easy to grip.The knurling on this is superb, and if you pair it with some chalk and hook grip, that bar might as well be glued into your hands. Do note this is a stiff bar, but hey it only helps that much with your transition off the floor on a deadlift. I've yet to try benching with it but I'm sure it would be better than my old cheap walmart bar, lol.Another thing is that it came well packaged. It was really secure and had these pins that kept it away from the walls of the cylinder. There were no scuffs, marks or blemishes on the bar itself once I opened it. It does come pretty greasy/oily but the trick to it is apply some automotive degreaser on an old rag, give it a good wipe down and let it dry. I got the idea from some BB.com forum and it worked like magic. No stains whatsoever.Get the bar, you won't regret it!

Great bar for the money. Came with some minor Cosmetic defects but still functionally great. The bar is pretty stiff which is great for squatting and benching but not so much for deadlifting if you are used to a deadlift bar with some whip/flex. The knurling is average which is perfect for a multi use bar, but lacks knurling in the middle of the bar.

I got the barbell and ez curl bar combo. The bars have perfect knurling and the sleeves rotate smoothly.

Really there's nothing I dislike about it. It's a great bar especially for the price. I would buy it again
