Super Cute Kinda Small
I got this for my dog who likes to look out the window but couldn't now that we moved the couch and he is too small to see out the window himself. He is a small dog Maltese and Yorkshire mix aka Morkie and weighs about 10lbs and this is just a tad bit small but still okay enough for him to use. The main reason is the ladder it is not wide enough for him to comfortably climb up and now we have to find a different way for him to get up or even just remove it so he can jump up. It is made from wood and has a very woody smell as well as can be a bit rough like he is going to get a splinter so we removed the cage wooden floor (also to give him more room) and added a blanket to the top portion. It was very easy to assemble took only 20min max and is very sturdy.

Love This House
I purchased this house close to 5 years ago and we got our money’s worth. Our inside/outside cat uses it all the time, loves the top deck and knows to use it in the rain. It’s been on our deck w/o overhead covering. It stood up pretty good to the weather, but almost time for a new one since the roof is starting to come apart. I would recommend this cute house for your furry friends. 🐱🐱🐱

Safe warm place for outside kitty cat
This is a good deal! We have paid over $200 for another outside heated cat house and we are happy with that one, too, but this one is just as good if not better - because it is lifted up off the ground AND we like the roof! It's also easier to lift the roof to clean and the kitty likes to rub up against the rough roof material. We also like that for when the weather becomes warmer or hot, it is easier to remove the insulation layer part so that the house is cooler. Our other outdoor house is also made of plastic, so we like that this one is made of wood (or something similar that is wood-like? It's lightweight wood and not very thick) We also used a special heating pad that is made especially for cats and have that plugged in all the time and it fits perfectly and keeps kitty even warmer. We bought this for a feral cat that we have tried for over two years to get him to warm up to us so we could bring him inside, but he refuses to allow us to do anything but scratch his head and that is only when he wants food. Otherwise he won't come inside and he won't let any human near him. So this house is for him and so far he loves it. This took less than an hour to put together. We added some wood glue when we screwed it together for extra stability. We also were careful to go slow so that the wood didn't crack or split while putting it together. We are very happy with this purchase and may buy another. We did not paint ours, but this would be very easy to paint or customize if someone wanted to. We bought the grey and white one and we think it looks nice just how it is.

Highly recommend.
This is a perfect size for one large or a couple of small cats. I really like the insulation. Very well construction. It was not difficult to assemble. My only advice is to not over tighten screws because the wood is light. That being said, because it’s light, it’s easy to move around. The roof lifts easily and stays up for ease of cleaning. I’ve added an KD outdoor electric heated pad for the winter. Our feral cats really enjoy these little houses.

Came scuffed and chipped...but overall ok for the price.
Bought this for a cat who prefers to be outside. Some side panels and the inside panels came scuffed and chipped, (I am sure this was probably shipping related) so several areas needed to be sanded down to remove sharp edges which made the process of putting it together harder. It is easier to put together with two people over one, it takes some good tweaking to get it to all fit right because the pre made holes are un even and not where they really should be.It had a heavy smell that was off putting to my cat and she has not used it yet. She made that scrunched up smelly face. Not sure if it's the wood or the paint or just the combination. However after the effort of sanding and putting it together fully, it fits nicely on the front porch and looks great, has stayed dry on the inside though rain/snow and I believe once the smell dies off she will use it.Overall it's a good price for what it is and appears that eventually it will do the job.

Feral kitty refuses to come out of her little house if it is cold or rainy
Quality construction and materials. Waterproof with over hang extend out from house over doorway. But those clear, fairly heavy plastic flaps that hang in doorway are the best!! They keep rain out and ambient heat from kitty’s body trapped inside when it is cold. There was a very short adjustment time for kitty to figure out what the flaps were and how they worked she is either inside or on top of her little house unless she is taking a potty break. God forbid that another cat looks too long at her home or walks near it.she goes wildcat on them! She has become very talkative and affectionate since she took ownership of her new life. She rubs up against me and crawls in my jacket and purrs. This kitty’s behavior and personality has completely changed since moving into her new home and it has only been 2 or three weeks. We had tried 2 other enclosures and she was seldom used them. Oh, and I love that I can lift the roof and peek in to make sure she is settled and comfy. Also the insulation on all sides and the floor contribute to the warmth and comfort of the set up and they are easy to keep clean. When it is really cold 50degrees or below I add waterproof pads to decrease the amount of open room inside that can allow cold air to be trapped. (Florida Kitty)behind the plastic flaps. I love this little house !! So does kitty. It is very sturdy and asthetically pleasing. Brita is no longer feral. She has found her home and love with us, with your help.
