Q: Does the large Vogue hold a Surface laptop (8 1/4 x 11 5/8)?

The padded compartment for the HIC11L Vogue Large is designed to hold a small tablet. You might be able to put the surface in the main compartment, but it won't fit in the tablet compartment. I would recommend the Ruby, the Kayla, or the Midway Relate as possible solutions.

The main compartment on the Vogue Large backpack is accessed by a U-shaped zipper on the back panel. When you unzip this, there is a padded compartment for a tablet (it may hold a small laptop depending on the brand) on the panel where it opens. The tablet will be against your back when you wear the backpack. On the opposite panel, there is a zippered pocket inside the main compartment.
