Alkaline (Raise pH Level) 5-Stage Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System, 75 GPD Membrane

I was actually buying water from Natural Grocers, it was 25 cents per gallon, not bad. Until one day I bought a TDS meter and realized that my RO from Natural grocers was virtually the same as tap water. It even tasted like tap water, I was paying 25 cents a gallon for tap water, what a rip off. Then I went to Safeway. Their machine showed a TDS of less than 50 PPM and it tasted great, but cost 50 cents a gallon. Then their machine broke, and all they sold were 5 gallon jugs for $7.50. So I was paying over a dollar a gallon for drinking water. So in a little over three months I was paying about what this water filter cost.If you buy this filter you for sure will need a TDS meter. When you first start it up the TDS will be sky high until it flushes itself out and the timing on that depends on your water pressure. Took me quite a while with my low pressure. Start collecting water when it gets below 50 PPM. Seems like the longer you run this filter the lower the number gets and the better the water. But when you start it back up the numbers are high again for the first 20 minutes or so, I drain that off before I collect it. Takes me a few hours to get 5 gallons but I just set it up in my sink when I go to bed and it's full when I wake up. The filter is real easy to install and run on your sink. I really like the bypass valve to where you can still use your sink without taking the unit off.Whatever you do, don't ever drink your tap water no matter how good you think it is. I'm a chemist and let me tell you that there is no way to test your water for everything. Most water tests will only test the basic few parameters. For a wide spectrum of compounds you would need to spend thousands of dollars in various tests, and even then you could be contaminated with a new designer drug or something that will bypass the tests and they would never detect it. What you really want is RO water, but not with a TDS of zero, you want minerals added back. This system is the best I've seen, it will remove all compounds and minerals and then add back just enough to make it taste good and 100% safe. Stop gambling on your water and buy this now!

The flow is slow but that's how it is due to how well it's filtering the water. The company should be up front about the flow and also make a YouTube video on how it works and how to use. The instructions are a bit too complicated

Would have rated 5 stars if it didnt come with the broken part. At least they send it with the spare so i was able to fix it myself

I would highly recommend this filter to customers. It reduced the dissolved solid content in my apartment tap water from 300+ to 30 within 2 hours after installation. Good solution for those who are buying water from supermarket. This will save your money and time as well.

I have hard water where I live and been using a PUR water filter. Before PUR TDS was high 300's with the PUR it was 280. Water out of this thing was 17. I heard about Alkaline water benefits so this and clean water were a win-win for me!Tony

It is not worth your money it is a waste of time better off finding a different product takes way too long to filter
