Family Fun!
My husband and I love to play games. We play most every day and we get very competitive. Our favorites are strategic games. This game is perfect because the first time we played, we thought there wasn't much to it, but after we got into the game, we realized that there is some strategy to be the first to visit all the cities. This is true especially if you roll a lot of sixes during the set-up stage as we did. This game is also great when our grandson who is nine comes to visit because we tone the competitiveness down and just have a great time with him. Thank you to the inventor who designed a game that can be played with adults and/or children. By the way, I won the first two games.

Great combo for the price, and it will actually trim braided line!!!
ZINGER - retracts smoothly every time. I pulled it and let it back rapidly over 100 times to see if I could get the spring to fail or the string to knot up etc. No problems at all.EYE CLEANER - What can I say, it is basically a needle tip. It works really well to get the paint out of the eyes of painted jig heads.CLIPPERS - At first, I wasn't sure I liked them because they didn't seem to cut braid at all, but I figured out a trick. You just squeeze down tight where you want to trim your braid and then while applying quite a bit of pressure, pull the line and it will cut cleanly with very little fraying. Just make sure you keep the pressure tight while you pull. I was able to cut, 20, 30 and 50 pound braids of different brands without any problems once I tried it this way. Of course trimming mono and fluorocarbon are no problem at all.KNOT TOOL - If you don't know how to use the tool, google "tie-fast knot tool" and you can find some excellent videos showing you bunches of ways to use it. Basically, it makes it VERY easy to tie a good nail knot. I will mostly use it to tie a nail knot splice. For instance, tying braid to a mono or fluro leader. You can tie a nail knot in each line, similar to a blood knot, but stronger.I used the tool to tie several braid to mono splices and then used the clippers to trim the tag ends off completely. It made a very strong connection that is a very small knot that can be easily reeled through the eyes of your rod if you want to have a really long leader. I tied one with 25lb braid to 25lb mono and trimmed them with the tool so you can see how clean it trims (see picture).I definitely recommend this little tool and zinger combo. It costs less than a lot of zingers alone and is definitely cheaper than the Tie-fast knot tool alone. I was given a discount or free sample of this item in exchange for my honest opinion. I am in no way obligated to give a positive review and am not paid to review any products. I will update this review if I find any problems with this item in the future. Please click “yes” if this review was helpful to you and let me know if you have any questions I didn’t address. Thanks!

It works well enough for its primary purpose. The cutter doesn’t work great near the edges which is where I tend to go for delicate or precise work. Also the hook eye clearing pin doesn’t fit through the hook eye so clearing excessive head cement is a back and fourth and back and forth again process. I suppose that allows for a stouter pick that is less likely to break but it also means that the tool is quite cumbersome to use. I have yet to try the nail knot tool and may just cut it off the nippers. For me a nail knot is a maybe once a year thing while the nippers I use every day. I would rather be unobstructed from my nippers.

Great tool. Dull blade.
To start off I wish I would have found a tour like these a lot sooner. I have been fishing my entire life and these things have made tying knots a whole lot easier. The good is, these are easy to use and there are plenty of videos showing how to tie different knots on different types of lures, flies, and hooks. My only complaint is I should have went with the ones that were a tad more expensive. I use these on basic fishing monofilament and fly line leader and they seemed really doll and I had to twist them to get them to cut the line. The retractable clip made them easy to access whenever I needed them and I still was able to use them multiple times since I am really good at catching underwater limbs and debris LOL.I still plan to keep them as a part of my tackle and plan to buy some of the more expensive ones in the future to see if they cut better. I also realized after using these I wish I would have bought the clips that have a thumb rest on them. But overall for the money I spent, I am pleased with them and am able to make accommodations for their use. Definitely worth the price if you were not sure you will even be happy using them. But you’ll probably want to buy the upgraded version if you do end up liking them.

So glad I didn't get a Dunk'n gift card instead!
Bought this as an office holiday gift for a fisherman on my staff, after asking some other fishermen for ideas. He was beyond thrilled! Not only is it apparently accurate that these things are frequently needed and it's great to have more than one, but the fact that this one shouldn't get lost in the water seemed to be a nifty bonus. If anyone reading this is looking for a stocking stuffer or similar small gift, then I can't recommend this highly enough. Your fisherperson will definitely like it.

I bought this tool for my wife, and she approves of all its uses. I've used before the zinger that comes with the tool, and it's effective and long-lasting. Eighty days of fishing and still zinging.

Knot tool arrived broken. Clippers are not sharp. Replaced with a $3 clipper from Wal-Mart.

works great.
used it for the first time and it worked great, quick pull and retract. The only thing that sucks is that I already lost it...I'm sure it will turn up somewhere in my tackle box or truck.
