Much Better Than Expected
I was tired of having my kids toss their bikes on the ground after they finished riding each day. I researched "bike racks" and was disappointed to find just how expensive some of these racks are. However, the Retrospec Bike Racks come in 2, 4 and 5 bike spaces, and aren't expensive. I purchased both the 2 and 5 sets, since they can be easily combined to meet the number of bike spaces needed. I was SO VERY pleased with the quality and durability of this bike rack. Assembly takes a little patience, since the screw threads have to match up exactly, yet is made easier by the adjustable pipes. It took about an hour to put together both the 2 and 5 bike racks (joined together). Now I have a wonderful bike stand that holds the 7 bikes, and the kids no longer have to leave their bikes all over the yard. I like the design, durability and value. Highly recommended.

Keeps bikes neat in garage without falling over
This lightweight rack is not some ultimate storage rack. However, it's relatively inexpensive and serves it's intended purpose of keep our bikes standing up in the garage. Without it, they were always falling over from using the kick-stands. With these units, the bikes stand upright and let us put our other "junk" around the bikes when not in use, and the bikes aren't falling over. Simple, cheap, effective. If knocked, the bikes may still fall, but that's really "your problem" at this point, since they're generally kept in place with this rack.

It is easy to place and will hold bikes
I've been using this for two year now and it still looks and functions the same as the day I put it together. It has been outside in the elements the entirety of it's use. I've seen no rust or wear on it. It is a very lightweight bike rack, I would never call it much of a deterrent to thieves, but it does hold my 4 bikes, one fat tire) just fine. It works great as a storage place in my back yard so the kids don't leave their bikes lying all over the place. With sever faulty or missing kickstands, it keeps the bikes upright and neat and tidy. Easy to access and easy to put away. I am and continue to be happy with my purchase. I would not suggest using it in a high theft insecure area, as it is lightweight enough that forcing the bars to bend or separate would not be an issue for someone who really wants to take your bike.

Would have returned but too late
Meh. It performs like it looks - wobbly, ugly, poorly designed and cumbersome to put together.1) It’s a bunch of metal tubes with spring clips. Cool cuz you can size down a 4-bike to lower, but makes it like a wobbly slinky.2) it’s ugly cheap steel tubing3) the gap for the tires is quite wide, a road bike is very unstable. In addition, it puts pressure on the middle of the spokes when it leans. This is a terrible design, as if your spokes begin to bend, your wheel true will go out. Terrible terrible.4) the spring clip tubes were fine. The threads of the wheel brackets don’t align well inside the tubes, so you have bend them to line up to the hole. Plus, some were rusted a bit already, which made threading the screw in difficult.Overall, good for a bunch of kid bikes or crap bikes, but I wouldn’t leave much higher end bikes in here, or wrap the tubes in a towel or something to make it tighter and less pressure on spokes.Peace.

You get what you pay for
Sadly, this rack came with several missing parts-- some clamps were missing, and out of 10 wheel arms with two end points each, 7 came with either one or no welded threads, which are what secure the wheel arms to the base. We tried for months to figure out why our bikes kept falling over and the wheel arms kept falling out, so when we finally took the whole thing apart we were able to see that the threads were missing in the majority of the wheel arms. So it's not a very effective bike rack, when the wheel arms are falling over and coming out and your bikes are falling down. I was excited about the configurability of this rack for our changing bike needs, but I'm disappointed in the quality and all the missing pieces. Definitely won't be purchasing this kind again.

Good rack for the money
I bought the two bike rack to mount into my truck bed so i can lock the bikes down to go into a store or whatever. I'm not expecting maximum security, just stability and not to lay the bikes on each other. I do want to say that the dimensions shown in the illustrations are not like what i received, the overall length is only 35" (not 48"). It isn't a problem for me as long as it fits in the truck, which it does. As far as i can tell the bikes fit into it just fine, one is 29" and one 24" mountain bikes with no fancy aftermarket stuff on em. I'll have to take the bikes or a few times to see how it holds up, I'm thinking it'll be fine. It was easy to put together, 4 screws per bike for the rack you get. Each extra bike would add 11-1/2" to the overall length. There is some play in the snap together design that is pretty smart, better than expected, though the pole ends can be a tight fit. Also a good idea to run the screws into the wheel tube ends once before assembly to condition the threads. If you want to mount it to a floor, use 2 hole straps for 1" electrical conduit, but don't expect it to be entirely theftproof. Got delivered a day early during this Corona madness too.

Very good item. Durable and strong!
It's been working very well for 4 years now (I purchased it in 2021). It holds very well 2 adult bikes and 1 kid one. I have it outside in the garden and under the sun (Florida). I definitively recommend this product.
