The difference with this cocktail book is that it is categorized by liquor type. Some books are not! I found it incredibly easy to try new cocktails depending upon both the likes of my guests and the type of alcohol I had on hand in my little bar. Simple instructions - especially for a newbie - and plenty of recipes, some of which were completely new to me. You won't be disappointed.

This is a nice, small, and easy to read cocktail recipe book for any aspiring mixologist. The recipes are simple, classic, and if you have a well-stocked home bar with all the basic spirits, you will find that you can make many more things than you ever thought you could. Honestly, the best book ever. It has an index in the back so it is easy to find all the drinks. Plus it is soo small that you can put it anywhere!

I was disappointed in the lack of gin based cocktails. The gin fizz and Ramos gin fizz are nowhere to be found

Easy recipes

Really great book! There are a lot of very interesting cocktails. I've tried three already and they came out perfect. Soon, I will be able to prepare some for other people beside myself ( I'm new at this). I definitely recommend!

No color pictures. I have to google every cocktail to see what color is supposed to have the mix.

Worked perfect for hosting guests

What would be cool is to link all ingredients to purchase on amazon or something. Just a thought... I enjoyed the pictures then the ingredients and the inclusion of the types of bar glass that are necessary.
