It works! Not the best workmanship
Had to replace my transmitter. Although it works good, I have some question on product quality/price balance. The pictures I took and from right out of the box, brand new. The base cover has gaps, does not sit flush, and it not even square to the unit body. Not sure how it earned its QC sticker, but for a unit that is going to be outside... I question the weather resistance. With that said... and I am a few years smarter; after looking at the last transmitter I had... it seemed moisture took it out over the years. Installed correctly, and upright - there was evidence of corrosion on the PC board and the contacts inside the transmitter. I did not look at the build quality of it when first purchased. Maybe an expensive mistake. This new one, at least I have a chance to seal the gap with some silicone to help slow down any moisture penetration ( which I did ).I had my system ( GTO MightyMule 560 ) for 5 years, and had to replace a few things. The parts are NOT cheap ( price wise ). The system holds up pretty good, just take very good care of it. But I also expect good product quality when I am paying a premium price for it. I fear the day I have to replace the main circuit board, its almost a $400 part, which is about what I paid for the entire system. But as of now... Im happy. The entire system has been giving me good service with minimal upkeep over the years.

Excellent Unit, works well with Ghost Controls Gate Opener
I bought this specifically to solve a problem I had with my Ghost Controls opener not being able to pair with the Homelink in my cars. When I installed this Receiver to the Ghost Controls gate opener board, and paired it with my very old Ghost Controls 318 MHz transmitter, it worked perfectly and I was able to pair all 3 of my different cars to the Transmitter and Mighty Mule Receiver and get the gate opener to work perfectly, and from a longer distance than with the Ghost Controls Transmitter. A nice product that is reasonably priced (I bought a Used Like New unit).

It works fine——including the ground sensor after contacting CS
This receiver has wires for 2 gates. Initially I only connected the 2 wires for my 1 Mighty Mule 360 gate. (The receiver included with the MM360 does not work with the ground sensor). After following programming instructions the gate operated fine using my remote. However, I could not get the ground sensor to trigger opening the gate. Turns out that the 2 wires for a 2nd gate (which I do not have) need to *also* be connected in order for my one gate to be opened by the ground sensor. Fortunately GTO customer service patiently guided me through all this, and he even tried to give an explanation of why the other 2 wires were needed, but that went over my head! Anyway, everything works fine now.

poor wiring instructions
Ordered replacement receiver has six wires compared to the original with 3 wires. Not enough instructions to figure out how to wire new receiver.

Perfect for a gate with dual functions (exit and cycle) but...
This is perfect for a gate that has an exit (just opens the gate) and a cycle (open/close on demand) functions because it has two channels and my opener has two functions. You can program one for the drive-over sensor for exit and one for your car/entry remote. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because it is VERY sensitive to lightning strikes. I've replaced mine about four times over the past three years. I finally discovered a solution for you electronic geeks. Replace the existing power/control cable with shielded CAT-6 network cable and ground the shield. Mine is mounted on a pole that protrudes about three feet above a metal fence that's 1500 feet long. When lightning hits anywhere near the fence it takes out this little receiver but leaves the gate controller undamaged. It is NOT just a receiver, it is a trigger that opens and closes internal switches that operate your gate so it's pretty much universal. You have to program the two channels to the two remotes (it will handle unlimited remotes with the same key-code but only two different key codes thus one "exit" one "entry/cycle").The main reason I keep purchasing this is because it is ULTRA sensitive, the best I've seen, I can trigger it with my car with the "clicker" from 1000 feet away and the drive-over remote is 500 feet away with the transmitter three feet off of the ground on a tree. It is a wonderful receiver with a great weakness that can be addressed easily by the manufacturer (or a geek and a soldering iron.) It needs a shielded cable between the receiver and the gate-opener!

Links Mighty Mule to Ghost Control Openers
I switched from an old Mighty Mule dual gate opener to a new Ghost Controls system. Ghost Controls will lead you to believe you need all new keypads and clickers (remotes) for their system. Not true! This device allowed me to use six of my old Mighty Mule clickers AND both keypads. Saved me about $400 and set up took seconds. I would highly recommend if you are converting from MM to a new system.

Remote receiver
Works great for the car remote and the road gate sensor! Reasonably priced by this seller.
