Great Curio for the Price...
Great Curio for the price! I looked at every curio available on amazon for a few weeks and this offered the best choice for what I wanted, an all glass curio cabinet on a small price scale. Of course I knew the quality would not be as great as many other curio's, but if you don't want to spend a lot the reality is there isn't many options for you and if you want one all glass the 3 offered from Coaster is the only options you'll find, at least on Amazon. The other few that are listed from other brands like Ikea are not as nice as this and cost more and not offered with Prime. So if you first intention is budget related this curio from Coaster is your #1 option, and it's also Amazon's choice.Quality: again, your on the very low end of the spectrum for curio cabinets here. With that said, the quality isn't as bad you may first think. It is however particle board not real solid wood the wood top, base and side frames are made of, that's expected for the price tag with this unit. However the construction is solid once all is together. Don't over tighten the allen bolts though, tighten them and give them one more rotation for a solid snug. The Galss: is heavy tempered glass panels and all the glass is clear, not dark tinted or anything, a plus for displaying your treasures! The Packaging: 100% on the packaging of this item, it's basically packaged within a box, within a box, within a box, within a box, lol, so yes, all the parts are packaged well like 4x. None of the glass was broken, chipped, scratched etc...The Assembly: Here you will need two people when you get to the glass, the instructions are not the best, but if you good with building assemblies you can easily figure this out without the instructions being the best. I did as they said and started with the back panel of glass. (be aware the instructions say a letter for each panel, but nothing is marked. there are 3 panel sizes, look at them carefully, the widest is you back panel, the next two are the same size, they are your sides, the last is the door). If you go by the instructions and start with the back panel with the unit upright, you'll need other person to hold the panel while you attach the side panels. The strips they give you you can't "slide" the glass in, you need to instead take those stripe place them on the side panels instead of the back panel first set the back panel in place with another holding it, then fit the side to the back inserting it in the strip and repeat for the other side. Once all 3 sides are together, put the top wood on, the wood is grooved for the panels to sit in, one 3 panels are up in place and the top base is attached it's solid. The you attach the attachments for the door and then the door.I added wired puck lights to the cabinet (see photo) simply drilled hole on the bottom base, I won't go buy and change batteries every few days for a battery puck light, that's just absurd. This curio is good for my cheaper not so greatly expensive gaming collector set figures and other smaller collectibles. The shelf remove if need more height but then your taking away a shelf too, catch 22 if need to decide i guess. I have much more valuable/rare/expensive figures from Sideshow, ThreeA etc... that stand 17" - 25" tall and could never use this curio for them without taking out shelf to fit them. On another side the unit isn't completely sealed so dust will get in through the door spaces. BUT the curio is nice for display you treasures, glass is perfectly clear and with lights if you add them easily show your stuff in a more classy manner.I recommend this curio, even though it's not top of the line, it is nice, sturdy, and very affordable.

good-looking display cab. easy assembly; good value
easy to assemble - 1.25 hrs at comfortable pace. solid. Instructions are a little vague - used magnifying glass for clarity. ancient Roman pottery displays well as the glass sides and shelves are large within a 3/4" wide frame. Black color and design match tall IKEA shelves purchased years ago, but this one is s much better price.

Gestalt
Four stars given because this glass curio cabinet is the best my money can buy. One star withheld because they cut corners.SHIPPING: For starters, the shipping box looked a wreck when it was delivered, popping open at the seams. It is very heavy, and not much thought was put into how it could hold up to handling. However, it was a testament to the engineers who calculated to the penny the bare minimum needed to ship the product without damage occurring. I will share the credit here then with FEDEX for lifting and delivering it safely. (There was a lot of heavy, long sheets of glass in this thing, you know.)CONSTRUCTION: Secondly, the screws that are used to hold the shelves, or bolt in the top and bottom wood platforms are again cheap to the penny. As someone else noted the instructions are absurdly chintzy on guidance; at one point telling you to just loosely attached screws "and we'll come back to them later" and never mentioning them again. So, let me tell you what I did to help you decide. I screwed in the shelf supports about half way to make sure the screws wiggled less and ended right under the suction cup. As for the bolts in the top and bottom wood pieces, they are cheaply prepared. So, for instance, when bolting the bottom to the posts, the posts dangle without the assistance of another pair of hands, and the predrilled holes are not lined with an insert that bites the wood tight enough, so the whole thing makes for a loose (wiggly) fit. Same for the top: if you push on the top after bolting it in, the insert will slide out with the bolt. (You have to take a screw driver and a hammer to bang the whole thing back into the wood. Again, this was a result of chintzy, bare minimum quality. But it is also an engineering triumph because in concert it all works to create a tight, sturdy cabinet. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.ASSEMBLED: The cabinet looks great but has two flaws. One, the feet are not adjustable for uneven floors, and the round feet mak shimming precarious. (I used thick drink coasters to shim it.) Two, there is no way the doors on the front can be adjusted to close the gaps. Shame, since the back and sides create a gap free seal. The doors can be perfectly aligned with the sides to give a virtually gap free seal. But that leaves an inch gap between the doors when they are closed. Shame.Again, my hats off to the engineers that new the minimum to create a gestalt.

Looks and works great.
This curio is the perfect size for my display items and it looks great when lit up with puck lights. See photos. I even put a couple of figures on top of it. Assembly was a little challenging… certain steps in the instructions weren’t explained very well — or at all — which led to me installing one of the side panels upside down. I had to disassemble it and do it again the correct way. Also, it was a little scary unpackaging and handling all of that glass during assembly. Just make sure you have a helper to hold the really heavy pieces in place while you’re tightening screws. I’m really happy with the look and feel of it and I especially like that it has five shelves, not four, to hold all of my stuff. It’s quite heavy and feels really solid with the glass shelves in place so there’s no chance of accidentally knocking it over. The doors open and close smoothly and it seems to be very well designed. To be honest, it looks like I spent a fortune on this curio when I didn’t. Even my wife really loves this thing and has complimented me on it several times. Very happy with this purchase and would buy it again without hesitation.
