I wanted to expand my USB Ports on the front side of my Mini computer (so I didn't have to pull everything out to access the rear USB ports). I did not intend to carry this hub around so I used two sided tape and mounted it to the Mini. My DYI hack was to cut off the UCB-C to USB-A dongle so that I could use it in the front USB-C port (if necessary) and moved it out of the way of the rear USB-A port.The hub is plug and play (immediate recognition). I tested my cordless mouse/keyboard receiver in the new hub ports and the USB-C dongle and they worked perfectly.I just received and setup the hub so I will report back if I encounter any problems.One minor nitpick: I know a lot of users like the longer cord for use with laptops, etc., but for my purposes (semi-permanent mounting), I wish they sold a shorter cord model.
