Next best series to Harry Potter!!Fantastic. Incredible.WonderfulI'm so much in love with Percy' world.Percy is a very strong character.He's charming, funny, brave, weak, and some times dumb(laugh).His comment always make me laugh so hard, but have to agree with him at the same time.I don't know how the author could create such a world of myth so strong like this.I went from nearly no knowledge about Greek myth (except for Poseidon who has been my favourite god since I was little) to be quite a good presenter about the gods...(laugh).The story in this series felt so Real you could question yourself 'did I miss something?'.All the characters are also so great.Not enough good words for this series.Absolutely The must read, and the must have books (not only kindle, believe me, they are worth to be kept as book too!)PS: It just happened to me to want to write the review after 7 years since finishing the books....weird (laugh)

A page turner, I couldn't put it down until I've read all of the books in the series.Witty and balanced storytelling. Both action and character growth scenes.It promotes friendship and moral standards. Youth friendly.Why buy the bundle instead of each book individually? One reason could be that you can search all the books for a name where has it first appeared. For example when you've forgot what a Laistrygonian or a dracaenae is, you search all the books in one place.And the individual covers I can skip.I will probably read the books again someday and I recommend them to people who like relatively light action.

These books are the reason my grandson loves to read. He hated reading and only did it when he had to, then he discovered Percy Jackson. He could not get enough of the stories. I bought the whole set for him and he has read and reread them over and over. Great for boys that you want to get into reading

As an adult reading a set of "teen" novels, my first statement is going to be that I feel Rick Riordan has the ability to envelop all ages in the warmth of his writing. I read the five books over a few days and really did not want to put them down at all. I have long been a fan of fantasy, mythology, the Greeks and all things geeky. Ray Harryhausen was a favourite of mine. . . The original Clash of The Titans movie . . *sigh*.These are delightful books with adventure, humour, derring-do, moral lessons and situations kids of all ages can relate to. I don't even think they would scare smaller children as bedtime stories . . handled correctly, of course. I loved them and I will be reading them again and again over the years.

Can't keep my grandson in enough books. He highly recommends this series. He's in middle school if that helps any.
