The machine itself is nice but the description was not accurate nor was the power supply sent. Mine cam without webcam and after market power supply opened the box didn't see a webcam placed back in the box requested return.

Five Stars
Downgrading my five-star review to one-star as my laptop just died. We'll see what I think after working with support. I have generally liked it to this point, but would also point out the touchpad is glitchy unless I use an external mouse.

Great ultrabook. Not the lightest, but the sturdiest!
I'm a computer tech and the E7450 has become my go-to laptop for those who want something small and light but still want it to be sturdy. I used the E7440's before them so I've been using the line for a few years. I tend to buy mine directly from Dell and I get the accidental damage warranty too (Dell's accidental damage warranty s really one of the best accidental damage warranties--much better than squaretrade or anything). It's not the lightest of the ultrabooks at around 3.5 pounds. But that's because it still has a metal internal frame. I've seen some of the super light ultrabooks ripped in half. I buy a lot of these for doctors and dentists--they always say they're easy on computers but they're not. These have stood up very well. I've bought 5 of the E7450's so far and 15-20 of the predecessor (E7440). I've yet to have a warranty issue with any of them. I have had a couple of accidental damage issues (full glass of wine spill, etc). The good news is that they've been pretty resilient to drops. I've not had a single broken screen or body damage that kept the laptop from working. It's a strong laptop. Also, it will work with Dell E series docks. You can plug it into at least two monitors through the dock. The i7 isn't nearly as fast as a desktop i7 (in fact the "U" ultrabook series is slower than the non "U" series. But for the average office medical software, Microsoft Office, email, web, it's more than enough power! That is why I normally get the i7. It makes a little more heat and slightly less battery life, but has a little more power. The i5 version is pretty good too and maybe a better heat balance, but I wouldn't buy the i3 version.I really like these laptops and would definitely suggest them. They're an ultrabook that will last! (In fact they by default come with a 3 year warranty where dell sends a tech to you for warranty issues--so I assume this one here on Amazon comes with the same warranty).

Save Yourself the Money for Another Machine (and Manufacturer)
Worst machine I have ever used. Cursor skips to another line (Word) or cell that is many columns and rows away (Excel) whenever it wants to or when I press the space bar. Browser closes down without me asking it to. Home and end keys do not work. Word and Excel are v e r y s l o w to load. Screen magnifies to 300% whenever it feels like it (while on the internet, using Word, using Excel) And that's just a partial list.Spent an hour and a half with Dell Tech Support. Issue with cursor skipping around was somewhat resolved but not fully. They were to contact me the next day to see if I was still having problems. Never heard from them.Contacted Dell to return the machine. They said their return window was 30 days from the invoice date and I was beyond that point (I ordered directly from Dell and it took them over two weeks to deliver the computer so I didn't actually have 30 days to use the machine). If I had purchased the machine from an office supply store, I would have had the full 30 days but they don't take the delivery date into consideration.I will never purchase another Dell.

Awesome machine!
I have had this computer for short time but so far has been awesome. So light and has very durable feel along with many features. In the future I will write more detailed review, but so far I like it a lot.

Having product and service problems
I purchased two of these (16GB model) in December and I've been having problems with one of them since the first day. I tried many things (like clean installing the OS, upgrading to Windows 10 etc) thinking that it can be a software issue. Nevertheless, it got worse and stopped working in the end.I recently contacted Dell support and they even made me remove the hard drive by reading a manual, listening to their directions on the phone and removing the back cover. Apparently they do not want their service dept to spend 1 hour even if that means you have to spend 3 hours just to identify the problem on their defective product. In the end, it turned out to be a motherboard issue.I initially contacted Dell support on October 18th, and the service department is still waiting for a part for the repair. My wife is sharing her computer with me, but I don't think this is a reasonable time frame.I'd always been a fan of Dell computers (and the service), but this time they failed. I can understand product defects, but service quality should be much much better. Next time I'll take my chances with another brand.

Don't buy a Dell!
Less than 2 months after purchasing this Dell Latitude directly from Dell it stopped working. A week later they sent a technician to my house, but sent a hard drive without an operating system so the laptop still didn't work after he left. Dell then sent me a hard drive that I was required to change myself by watching instructional videos. Finally got it changed out after hours and it STILL doesn't work. I bought this because I read good reviews about the low maintenance, but I'm switching back to Toshiba after this experience. Call center is terribly slow and I can't understand some of the reps.
