Dell Latitude E5470 14 inches Laptop, Core i5-6300U 2.4GHz, 8GB RAM, 500GB Hard Drive, Windows 10 Pro 64Bit (Renewed)

The Dell Latitude 5470 looks like new. The “only” thing I noticed were the 2 case screws in the front were loose and would not tighten but that is “small potatoes”. I have been using it extensively. I did have to let Windows Pro reinstall itself because the updates kept giving an error. Since then I have built programs with Visual Studio and installed Windows 7 via VirtualBox. The laptop runs cool. Very well pleased. I’ve only had it about a week. Will update if anything changes.

nice little unit but am so disappointed with the Battery life its not funny

This model has a fingerprint scanner. A little glass surface next to the keyboard maybe 1"X.5" windows recognizes it as it sets itself up Very Cool. Keyboard led underneath is adequate to light the keyboard in the dark. Definitely a thumbs up and I am enjoying mine.

Customer Service and support is excellent. The equipment is good, durable, and configuration is perfect for cloud based operations. A key to our national expansion is having reliable equipment with dependability as these Dell Latitudes are a perfect setup out of the box for us.

Good buy

I ordered two of these computers. One came with a 250gb hard drive (supposed to be 500gb), one hard drive bracket was missing completely with nothing holding the drive in besides the bottom lid, neither computer have cameras, and both CPUs are an i5-6200, not an i5-6300. The keyboard isn't backlit and there's no pointing stick. The BIOS is WAY out of date (1.18; 1.21 is the current version and has been around for more than half a year).Numerous screws were very loose that attach the screen, so I had to remove the bottom cover and tighten up all the screws attaching the screen. Be sure you do this before using it otherwise the hinges might get damaged over time. Regarding the missing bracket, I'm replacing both spinning drives with SSDs but for a casual purchaser who doesn't open the bottom to fix the loose screws that should've been part of the refurbishment process, the hard drive flopping around will cause damage if moved when the computer is on.Other than missing cameras, these are fine computers for a good price, but it would be nice if the seller would use accurate pictures, accurate descriptions of what they're selling, and spend an extra minute or two making sure structural screws are properly tightened.
