My diabetic senior cat loves this cat food and he is rather picky. When you open the can, it looks and smells like something that would be people food. Just pure, quality food that is good for my cats. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive! I have 3 cats inside and 4 outside! Wish I could give them all this food.

Applaws is a great cat food brand that my cats love. Just natural proteins (chicken, duck, etc.) with no added fillers (save for a little white rice) or preservatives. Highly recommend for a healthy alternative to cheap, less-healthy canned food.

This cat food is amazing! Our senior cat was eating Hill's Science Diet. She became lethargic first. Then, her skin broke out. We took her to the vet and were told to change our food. She'd declined slowly after starting her old food, so we thought her lethargy was aging for too long. Since switching to this brand, her energy is back! Her allergic reaction is gone, and her coat looks amazing. You can just tell she's a happier, healthier cat. Definitely recommend this brand. This is our forever cat food now after seeing how much good food has helped our baby. Can't put a price on it. Our baby's glow up says everything we need to know about the quality.

The media could not be loaded. We’ve tried so many cat food brands, and this is the only one my cat actually eats consistently. She absolutely loves it, so we’ve stuck with it. What I appreciate most about Applaws cat food is the simple ingredients—for example tuna, broth, and rice. Nothing extra, nothing you can’t pronounce, which is really important to me.The grain (rice) is a bit of a minus, since it’s a filler, but the ratio seems reasonable and there’s still plenty of fish in each can. When you open a can, you can clearly see it’s mostly fish with some rice, not the other way around.Because it’s all natural, it does go bad quickly once opened. If you leave it in the bowl, it will start smelling like rotten fish within a day, so you really do have to refresh and wash the dish daily. That’s a bit of extra work, but I’ll take it for a food that my cat loves this much.The biggest downside for me has been the packaging. A few times, I’ve received shipments where the cans were dented or the cans were just tossed into a plastic bag instead of the original box. Not a dealbreaker, but it feels sloppy for such a good product.Overall, I’d say this is a high-quality cat food with clean ingredients. My cat is obsessed with it, which says a lot, but I really wish the company would tighten up the packaging.

I was given this product by a friend. When I opened it, I was very impressed. It isn't those can of cat food you get from the store. My cats literally ate this food so fast. They loved it. It looked like I was opening a can of tuna.It is a bit expensive . I do like the quality of the product. It does smell like fresh fish, and I do put a little in my dogs foodbecause they too eat fish. It is a good product look like tuna because it is tuna.

She absolutely loves every flavor in the pack—tuna, mackerel, shrimp—you name it. The food looks and smells like real fish, and I feel good knowing it’s simple and natural with no weird fillers.Feeding her used to be a daily struggle, but now she actually runs to her dish when I open a can. It’s been a total game-changer for getting her to eat wet food.The only downside was that my first Subscribe & Save order from Amazon was short a few cans. Thankfully, Amazon refunded me quickly, and every order since has been perfect. Despite that hiccup, I’ll definitely keep buying because nothing else works for my cat.Highly recommend if you have a picky eater—it’s been a lifesaver for us!

Beautiful, fresh smell. You would have difficulty distinguishing from human grade. However my cat did not like it. For me with arthritic hands, the cans were impossible to open. I will not order again

This is the third box of Applaws wet cat food in broth I have purchased to feed my picky kitty. I’m still in awe when opening the cans-the chicken and tuna honestly look like ‘people’ food to me. My cat has earned the nickname ‘Two Bite Ike’ because she’s so picky but with the Applaws she’s sitting and eating 5, 6 and even 7 bites at a time and even stopped ‘burying’ the extra left in the bowl. This is expensive compared to most other canned cat foods but i think it’s worth it since i only have one cat and she doesn’t even eat one can a day.
