I was looking for a pencil for my 7 year old son which was dark enough to be able to read.I honestly can’t tell you if these pencils are dark. The tips broke the first and last time he used them.I would not recommend these to anyone else!

Deficiency of Service
Out of two packet of pencil in one packet there is only 8 Pencil that means 2 pencil short.. The packing of that packet is also not proper....

Very smooth writing!
I love the texture. I have a professional sharpener and that makes a lot of difference in the strength and uniformity of the point. Even so, it's a pleasure to write with, and that helps my penmanship. If only it were a little darker, it would be perfect!
