These dolls have such a sweet face and a nice soft, quality body to them!Julie: Hair made of yarn and hoping that holds up with lots of play. The dress is a very cute design but the main body of the dress is made of a very cheap satin (I guess to give it a fancy sheen) that could snag easily. Dress also came wrinkled and not sure it’s possible to straighten out. Originally bought several Eimmie puppets and then fell in love with this salsa dancer character (firstly, it’s the only one with medium skin tone, please make more! secondly, lovely outfit).Charlie: He is perfect! His outfit is really cute with 2 tops, and hair is soo soft (not yarn like others and it seems like it will not get ruined with play). The puppet version of Charlie was sold out everywhere.I could not get these two in puppet form, but loved their design and also wanted to include them to balance out skin tones, so I ended up buying the doll version. So happy with them and child I’m gifting this to will love it too, especially since she can also hug them unlike the puppets.

Cute doll for a reasonable price

First, I would probably give this doll 4.5 stars if it were possible. It's an excellent little doll, judging from the brief time we've had it. The price is also very good. It's just that I tend to save top ratings for things that are so good it surprises you.Likes: The doll has a happy, friendly expression without being cutesy or spooky. I like her hair color and style. Her facial features (eyes, etc) are embroidered on, not painted or glued, so they should be more or less immune to kid's chewing. The rest of the doll is very soft and inviting.Minor cons:One, the manufacturer makes a point that the doll can have its clothes changed. It's true that the dress and shirt are removable (not the shoes/socks). However, the manufacturer didn't give any good sources for other outfits. I spent awhile searching Amazon and the doll's web pages looking for alternatives, without finding any clear leads. So the "changing clothes" feature may not be of any value. I wish it were.Two, it's not clear the doll will be a hit with its intended audience. This is the first doll for our 13-month old granddaughter, who we do day care for. She responded happily to the doll when she first saw it, but set it aside after less than 15 minutes. After having it for a few days, she picks it up for a few minutes once or twice a day, but soon moves on. We'll have to see if it grows on her. I imagine most any other doll would fare about the same, so I don't hold it against this one particularly.

The doll is well constructed and soft when propelled across the room by a 2 year old.

Got this as a gift for my neighbor’s daughter that just turned 2! She is obsessed with all things hair so this doll was perfect for her to play and practice hair with. It was bigger than I expected and that was nice!Will order more of these dolls in the future for my friend’s daughters!
