Dräger X-plore 5500 Full-face respirator mask | NIOSH-approved

Great for splash exposure!! Use for cleaning where sprays can spash back into face. Nothing gets through. Takes a bit of figuring out for best fit but when that happens, it fits amazing!!

Respirator works very well, currently when I wear the mask I use p100/ov cartridges that work really good. A mask that I've added into my rotation of masks I use for my respitory allergies and sensitivity issuesDrawbacks are one size fits all, five point head harness, price.

The mask is to small and heavy

I do some hobby auto painting and as such do not have a professional spray booth so protecting my lungs is important considering some of the chemicals in paints, thinners, hardners etc

I have asthma and severe allergies. This is the easiest breathing respirator so far. I wish they had 2 sizes, this is about 2-3 percent to small for me (I have 7 5/8” head). Thank you Dräger. I am taking the box to my doctor’s office to recommend these. The one size fits all, never does.

Best mask ever for protection from chemicals. I resurface countertops and bathtubs. Some of the stuff we mix up and spray is really nasty. My coworkers are always coughing and complaining.. not me I don’t smell it at all with my Drager

Bought for epoxy and painting VOC protection. I am very disappointed in this mask. There is not enough free flow when you exhale and you end up fogging up the mask, I’ve checked the one way valves and they all are functioning properly. The exhaust valve should be placed directly in front of your mouth but it’s below your chin instead. Terrible design. It is a not a good fit for someone with a larger face, even though it says one size fits all. Worst part is that it can’t be returned.
