Taylor R-0718-A - Silver Nitrate Reagent 0.75oz Refill for Salt (Sodium Chloride) Pool & Spa Test Kit

Have been using this along w other Taylor liquid testing products since I took over my pool maintenance from pool service 3-4 years ago.Have tried quicker/cheaper options- strips/digital meters, none are as accurate. Will use those if in a big hurry or for a ballpark number, but none are as accurate as this.Taylor really is the gold standard! (liquid ones- strips even from them, not nearly as reliable as these!)

This is part of our Taylor test kit, and is used as part of the test to measure the stabilizer level (CYA, or cyanuric acid). I trust the Taylor test chemicals, they're very accurate and easy to use.

Works great with the other compound for the test. Try not to get on your skin though! My thumb is now a dark brown!! LOL

Pretty much the Gold standard for testing the salinity in your swimming pool. Forget the electronic meters. They are not accurate and do not last.

Product was stored inside,and after a period of time the readings were off by 1K ppm. The product didn't last as long as the expiration date. Five months before the expiration date the product was showing a very cloudy color upon reading and off by 1Kppm. Very disappointed in the quality.

Used this for two seasons so far. Doesn't usually match a salt test at pool supply stores, but the Intellichlor salt generator has never disagreed when in some cases the store result should have the generator complaining.
