This cabinet went together relatively easy but did take a bit of time. Make sure you clear out an adequate space and block out some time. The reward is worth it! It looks nicer than I expected and the fireplace is really exceptional. Settings for different color flames and setting for the coals. It actually warms the room! I purchased this for my vacation rental and I'm sure my guests will appreciate this. Highly recommend.

This entertainment center with fireplace insert is one of my best online furniture purchases I've ever made. Solid wood material (bought the black) is exactly as pictured and even better in my room. The assembly can be tricky, but I was able to do the whole thing myself. Lay out all pieces first (they arrive in three separate boxes) including all of the screws, washers, etc. Also, I put felt on the bottom base pieces before assembling so that I could easily slide the finished piece over my hardwood floors without damage. All parts fit perfectly with one exception - but I was able to work it so that it's not noticeable at all. And, the heater/fireplace looks great and send fantastic heat into the room all with my TV placed on top. Fantastic purchase!! Thank you.

This fireplace looks terrific once its assembled, and the fire really warms up our basement well. The only thing you should double check is the depth of the cabinets. We wanted to put our cable box on one of the side shelves, and it just BARELY squeezed into it- and we had to cut a small circle out of the backing behind it, otherwise the cord plugged into the back of the cable box pushed the box too far forward and we couldn't shut the glass door. Aside from that problem, its great. And I put it together with just a basic screw driver in about 90 minutes (and I'm not a very handy person).

Glad I didn't pay full price for this electric fireplace. I'd been shopping around for a while to replace an older electric fireplace tv stand. I was excited when I found this "Real Flame" unit on sale because Real Flame seemed to have good reviews. The console itself is good enough, my disappointment is in the Real Flame fire place heater unit. The flame options are good, it heats up the room very well BUT when the heater kicks on the unit makes a knocking and ticking noise, the sound metal makes when it's heating up and cooling down. The noise is distracting and it cheapens the unit. I didn't have this issue with my previous cheaper fireplace. I expected better from a Real Flame fireplace. Also, for the money, the remote is very small and cheap. In my opinion, there are better units for less money out there. Wish I'd shopped around a little longer.

We bought this so the glass doors could keep our kids from messing with our AV Receiver. We measured several times before ordering, but the cabinet does not fit out receiver.However, there is a ton of space behind and above the Fireplace module that I may try to take advantage of with a hack/custom shelf.We love the look and functionality of this unit. It came very well packaged, no damage, and assembly took about 2 hours.Will be faster with electric screwdriver and removal help with the boxes and materials.

This arrived in 3 large boxes on 3 different days. There are so many pieces to assemble! For $1200 I was expecting much better quality and far less manual labor. We got halfway through assembling this monster when one if the crucial crew holes was completely misaligned. Then one of the front panels we realized was broken. The doors didn't line up at all and we couldn't finish the assembly because of the issues. My husband is good at carpentry/handyman stuff and even he ran out of solutions. We gave up and contacted Customer Service, which because it was a 3rd party seller, was very difficult. They want us to return everything before they will provide refund, even though we shared more pictures of the issues preventing us from even completing assembly. The expectation is that we take everything apart and send it back as we received it! This wasn't being returned because we didn't like it or some other reason like that, the product we received is faulty and cannot be assembled or used, but they expect you to deal with it. All around bad experience.

Looks nice, but they only sent 2 out of the 3 boxes, so we’re unable to assemble it completely. Waiting for missing parts.

Three boxes arrived at noon today and by 3pm... we assembled this amazing cabinet and fire feature which has added an ambiance to our library that is simply wonderful. All parts and instructions were perfect. No damage and easy to assemble. The materials are solid and well made. The fire feature is very easy to install ... takes just 4 screws. Love the fact that you can have the fire on and have no heat. Also love the fact that it works on a timer and offers various flame intensities. The only criticism is the stickers in the inside cabinet walls are very hard to remove so we ask the distributor to change the type of glue. Please if you want a similar look, buy this cabinet.
